Location: Central Texas How long have you been posting/lurking?: Today is the first time I've been in the forums, but have been to the site many times before I joined up. What do you enjoy doing?: I love spending time with family, reading, watching movies and listening to music. Tell us a little about yourself: Well I'm 26, a bit broken hearted at the moment, but praying all that is going to pass. I plan on getting back in to school to study Psychology. I have reached a point my life where I want to try everything. I want to learn so much about my Lord and Savior, and I just want to get out and see everything. Name: Joel. Location: near Vancouver, BC, Canada. The real Vancouver. How long have you been posting/lurking?: lurking a bit from late 98, probably joined around '99 or 2000. What do you enjoy doing?: Um... can someone tell me what I enjoy doing? I enjoy music -- large part of my life. I work as a software developer. I enjoy some computer stuff (not 100% shop talk though, ugh!). I enjoy photography, the beach (White Rock & Maui!!!!!!), life, friends, movies. CHURCH. I'm not about the building, but I am about the Kingdom of God and serving people. Tell us a little about yourself: Um... I'm male, 24, occasionally lonely, often energetic since finding out what life can be like, slightly bouncing off the wall because I have and am learning what being free means. I'm not perfect, but I aspire to the marine's motto, "Semper Fidelis". No, I'm not a marine. Name: Kaman (I've had various nicknames throughout the years. Figure one for yourselves :D ) Location: Victoria, British Columbia (Not too far off of the REAL Vancouver...) How long have you been posting/lurking?: Hmm... I've been a member of crosswalk.com through one or two nicknames on and off for probably about six years-ish, but I've really stuck around only for maybe two years tops, though i've been relatively scarce this year. But I am coming back, honest! What do you enjoy doing?: Lots of things! If it involves the outdoors, I'm all for it, but I also read, cook, write, sleep, eat, do a smidge of knitting. I love music! ok, I really could go on, but for all your sakes, I will not. :) Tell us a little about yourself: I'm 23, single, and I have a wonderful little girl who is at the time of writing this, ten months old(She just started crawling almost two weeks ago!). I currently do the night audit two or three nights a week at a local hotel. It's two or three hours of work, then I make largely feeble attempts at amusing myself for the remainder of my shift. So, i'm looking into taking some correspondence courses to pass the time, and to kill two birds with one stone, continue with my education!

Hi, I'm Sonja. I am a new participant; I signed up about twenty min. ago. I live in Cali. I go to college. My major is English Literature and I believe I want to teach college in future. Currently I manage a restaurant. Things I like to do for fun? I go to church as often as possible, about three times a week. I'm involved with our single's ministry. I love to read, travel, go to the ocean. My friends have described me as retro...whatever that means. Far-out! I must laugh from my belly at least once a day or I just don't feel right. I like to shake it up for the Lord! My life isn't great, but it sure is good. Everyday I get closer to His will for my life and I praise Him for it. I love fun...who doesn't? Whoever said Christians are boring and can't have a really good time out with friends, or even alone, has never hung out with me or my partners in praise. Rated G, but definitely not for the squimish.

I'm a widow of 6 years with two boys. I married my jr. high/high school best friend. We knew each other 20 years when he died at 31. I have a wonderful church family, wonderful in-laws, and wonderful parents. God has taken care of me and my sons beyond what I could have imagined. I've been able to stay home and homeschool as my husband and I had planned. My older son is now in school but I'm finishing 2nd grade with the younger.

Hmm, haven't gotten around to this, but since I enjoyed reading about you all, maybe it's time for me to join in. I'm from Northern Minnesota, beautiful Lake Superior area. I've lurked and posted off and on since about 2001-2002, somewhere in there. I am 53, a recycled single (divorced 4 years ago), have two grown boys (young men actually, 30 and 28 yrs old) that are the light of my life- and one of them has given me two grandchildren that you just might hear me mention from time to time... . I like camping, flower gardning, cooking, bike riding, quilting and doing things (just about anything)with friends and family. Psst, PamelaSue, I think we might just be the same person... I work for the gov't too (really, I'm here to help you...), and I'm a HGTV junkie too- but I can't carry a tune, so maybe we aren't the same person after all - whew, that was a close one!

What do you enjoy doing?: reading, writing, playing piano (sometimes), rollerblading, taking walks, volunteering, playing :o), frolicking, taking random drives with no real destination, getting to know people, squishing sand inbetween my toes (when the opportunity arrives, that is). and stuff. :o) Tell us a little about yourself: i'm heading into my sophomore year at a private university in central Minnesota, though I hail from the Illin-noise. I'm currently in the process of unpacking all my stuff... which is a big pain in the butt, but at least I'm home for summer! hoorah! anything else will be randomly revealed about me sometime throughout some posts here. i'm obviously single... and pretty much lovin' it. :o) i'm gonna be 19 in june! 19! i'm pretty shocked myself. anyway. yeah. :o) that's me.

LOL, no I usually follow up with the "... trust me, I'm here to help you... in triplicate..." Really, I sometimes wonder where all those "gov't workers" you hear about all the time are (sigh)!! Granted it is a huge bureaucracy and things go slowly sometimes, but most large corporations have many of the same problems... I have only worked for the Gov't for the last 14 years, before that I worked in a couple large businesses, it's not really that much different.

Name: Scott Location: TN How long have you been posting/lurking?: I did have an e-mail account on crosswalk several years ago. However, that phase ended and I was off crosswalk for years. I just began chatting here (again) a few months ago. I just did my first post a little while ago! What do you enjoy doing?: I enjoy church and church-related activities; regular services, revivals, singings (preferably Southern Gospel), singing at church, teaching Sun. School, Bible reading and study, etc. Also, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and much more! Tell us a little about yourself: I'm 32 (almost 33) and single in the strictest sense of the word - no spouse, no kids, no dates really. I have a BA in psychology and did work in a ministry to men with life-controlling problems for over 4 years, but am now working in a factory. I'm quite involved in my church and enjoy that. I am continually seeking God's will for my life - seeking direction. As I am in the factory in this season of life, I eagerly anticipate what God may have for my life on the next leg of the journey God is good!!!!!!! Romans 8:28
