I reserved 3 books at my local library about 10 weeks ago and was all over the waiting list-anywhere from 17 to over 200. Wouldn't you know it, all 3 books were ready at the same time, and I don't read as fast as some.
I am currently reading Moscow Rules by Daniel Silva. He has become one of my favorite authors and reminds me a little of Robert Ludlum. If I counted correctly, this is his 8th book with Israeli agent Gabriel Allon whose cover is an art restorer. I'm a little over halfway through and am enjoying it as much as his others.
When I finish it, I will read The Appeal by John Grisham. I've read all of his fiction books except Playing for Pizza which I plan to do. I have enjoyed his legal thrillers.
The 3rd book is The Dangerous Days of Daniel X by James Patterson. I've enjoyed his books about Alex Cross and the Woman's Murder Club and a few others. This seemed interesting. Fortunately I have a 3rd week to read this one.

The Madonnas of Leningrad (historical fiction)--finished
Comfort me with Apples (memoir)--finished
Now I'm working on:
The Garden-Fresh Vegetable Cookbook by Andrea Chesman
The Vegetarian Grill also by Andrea Chesman (both are great so far)
Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China

Doug Paggitt's "A Christianity Worth Believing" so I can keep up on what the promoters of Christianized pagan spirituality are saying.
Dean Koontz's "False Memory." Koontz's books stories are wierd, but well written.
