eeek, haven't played for a week and went into level 60-69 battlegrounds... had to get my "mojo" back. We won an AB and an EOtS. Lost a couple, too.

i think 2.4.3 patch with mount lowering is still about 2 weeks away. however my main may hit 40 anyways by the time it comes out (see below)! perhaps buying a mount and training at lvl 30, will free up money for people to spend on their new armor types at lvl 40.

last night i just completed Take Down Tethyr! which was a really fun quest. in fact all the quests in Theramore with the deserters, etc were pretty fun and very easy to solo. my level 33 dwarf warrior was getting like 3300 xp for easy and fast quests and almost like 500 per npc killed with my rested bonus. i have dinged twice and going strong still.

The first time I did Triage (spelling?) for my first aid skills, it was alot of fun. The 2nd time was easier.

m'love and I are spending alot of time in Battle grounds at level 69, then intend to take all that honor and marks and have a full set of gear for 70!
Congrats on dinging twice in one night. Rested bonus FTW!

yes i tried triage last night! i was like how did you know to mention it, than i realized i mentioned theramore, lol. the patients appear slowly on the beds and i had no clue i was running around outside looking for them ha ha. i tried a couple times and was confused ... i was thinking all the patients would be there at once and you'd find crit injured first, then seriously injured, then minor injured last but they appear and disappear. i gave up after a couple tries. after church, i ran scarlet monastary with my friend (41 warlock) and another friends lvl 65? something. it was fun, i think we ran 3 different instances? and i picked up 2-3 nice blue upgrades including a shield that dropped from a boss that was like 1600 armor vs my current 600 armor shield. also got some nice armor for when i level some more. the best time was when my warlock friend and i were draw aggro accidently or on purpose and made out 65 work harder to save us lol. i mean we each could handle guys solo easily but when 5-6 come ha ha. i got about halfway to 36, i wish i had remembered the midsummer festival 10% pole dancing buff before we went in. anyways i snuck on this morning to turn in a couple quests and got to 36. yay! i can't wait for new armor at 40 and at this rate i'll have my mount before the patch.

that is cool about battlegrounds. i guess season 4 gear is out whatever that means lol. i did a few battlegrounds for fun in my low 30s but obviously struggled due to my level and not being twinked out.

OH, and did your friend give you a stern talking to for that??? (grin)

It is best to stay out of battle grounds till you hit the upper ends of each level. My paladin used up alot of mana trying to keep lowbies healed. Just not enough hit points to last very long. Go ahead and join a battle for fun as a lowbie now and then but just realized that you will die often.

Now I have to get an alt toon back to the salt flats and turn in a bunch of quests. That is like the other side of nowhere.

It is alot of time. If it takes the place of more important things, then yes, it is good to quit. It is just a game, after all. Some people forget that for awhile.

If it was just me playing, I might have quit along time ago.

i got 3 or 4 really good SM drops, i'll be able to use when in the next couple of levels when i hit 39. so maybe i'll try some battlegrounds then. so far i think i've just played a few times. i have toooo many quests, i need to whittle them down somehow lol. it seems there is an awful lot of nowhere around wow land :)

And with my tendency to get lost!!! even with the maps and Cosmos, etc. It is good to have m'love guide me around when we play together. But I learn more by traveling solo.

OK, the patch came out yesterday and my main had to send money to my mid 30's toons to get their mounts. I have a tendancy to chose the color to match my hair. Pestered m'love when our gnomes went to get their robo-chickens. They have an "unpainted" version and I asked if we could paint it later. Of course he said, no. I went on to say maybe Blizz will let us do it in the future, they have jewel crafters and engineers, etc. (I can make exploding sheep). I just had to make it a good running joke for awhile.

Ran my first Shattered Halls last night with my son's guild. Dinner was cooking on the stove on low. He called to invite us in just as I put the food into the pan.
sheesh, what timing.

lol! i was rushing to 40 to buy a mount before the patch and actually hit that level but it was late and i didnt feel like taking the time to sail and fly back to where i could get a ram so i waited. i had no idea they were dropping price for riding skill so i'm really glad i waited til post patch to get it :)

i think the new construction in stormwind is cool - can't wait to see it when it's done!

With the release of Patch 2.4.3 today, construction has commenced at the docks in Stormwind. It's located between Cathedral Square and The Park, at the end of the canals. If you talk to the workers in the area, they'll tell you that they are preparing to bust out the wall to create a new entrance to the city.

i think this link might have screenshots:

I went there yesterday. It seems they have chased the kids off of the dock.

oh great idea about freezing horde, didn't think of that! plus could blink right away after i guess lol. what are sheep fights? i spent about 2 days playing this level 20 mage ... and last night kept wanting to freeze my enemies as my warrior ... grrrrr and then did scarlet monastary armory and boss dropped leggings which would have been an upgrade for me and the mage in my group (also in my guild) rolled need to and won. he said he didnt realize it was bind on pickup and wanted to give to his paladin. are most boss drops bind on pickup?

The really good pieces usually. My guild has everyone pass on the PHAT LUTZ from the bosses and then decides who gets the prize. Sometimes people goof. Not worth getting upset about, but I've seen it happen.

Yeah, frost, blink, turn and frostbolt...when you can sheep people, make sure you are hidden and they are at full health. Any damage breaks a sheep so people don't usually hit them and it gives the enemy a chance to heal. But if you sheep a mage, chances are good he'll return the favor and the some.

Another fun one is Mind Control, a priest skill. M'love has people jump off the cliff at the Lumber Mill in the battle grounds. With a leap of joy no less.

coolness! i've been playing just not as productive ... like when i run out of rested xp, i switch to an alt or mess around with professions ... i should just grind away, i'm so close to 50 on my main ...

has anyone done refer a friend? it seems pretty sick with people leveling insanely fast with the triple xp ... either multiboxing with orig account or with a friend ... i am thinking of abandoning my alts and starting new account for them even!

We've only refered a friend when we got our daughter signed up. But she is seldom on, busy as she is, so the faster leveling is no big deal. I have seen a few groups of "clones" but I wouldn't want to play that way.

I have alts that play till they run out of rested bonus and then I switch. I need to do some fishing with my hunter in the lower levels so we can make a freedom from stun drink for my pally and do some low level flower picking to make a run faster drink as well. Poor pally is pokey on foot.

It seems like 50 to 60 takes forever, but you can go to Outlands at 68. It is fun getting nice new gear drops there.

If you pvp you might appreciate this. Often in the chatter amongst players, there are those who get very upset and cuss at other players because things are not going the way they want. And then they just want to give up on the battle and call the other players Noobs.

Someone took the time to add what I had been thinking quiet awhile, " to think I pay $15 a month to listen to someone whine at me"... and I added, "their mom pays for their account so that they'll whine at someone else for a change"...to which someone else added, "their mom plays horde"... ROFL

oh no! :( :( :( i will hit 50 next time i play, a few bubbles left and getting good rested xp in tanaris! Tooga's Quest (turtle escort quest) was kinda humorous and an escort that follows instead of walking into mobs! after 15 minutes, i was almost there and got killed by a horde. i noticed at graveyard the timer was still ticking but when i arrived at the body i couldn't find my escort but he was off fighting and thankfully i completed the quest. thankfully the horde didn't attack my escort or camp me ...
