G'day!

I know that there are a few Australians and New Zealanders around the place, and just wondered if you'd be interested in hanging out together? We could teach everybody about ourselves and let others see more of an insight into the way things are done down under.

For those of you who aren't Australian or New Zealanders, that's ok. You're welcome to join in too. Just wanting to scope out those who are here from down under, and the others of you who come in here, can admire us. LOL! [:D]

I suppose I should start. My name is Trish and I was born in New Zealand, but have lived in Western Australia now for the last 15 years.

I am Julie and I live on the East Coast of Australia, in a rural/beachside/tourist area about an hour and half north of Sydney. I would love to touch base with the rest of the 'downunders' in here.

My name is Kylie and I'm a recent addition to the population of Brisbane, having just moved up here from Sydney where I have lived for the past ten years (yikes! was it really that long?).

Hi MSPav glad to meet you. My dtr is moving to Canada for a year in a few weeks too.. At least it will be coming into summer when she gets there, but yes I guess it will be Brrrrr...especially for you coming from the Sunshine Coast!..lol My SIL lives there so I know how wonderful the weather is there!

Ha! I was raised in a town called Wairoa on the East Coast lol [:D] about an hour and a halfs drive from Gisborne I think. I now live in Hastings.

I have a brother who still lives in Gisborne, and another in Flaxmere. Not too far from you! Small world!
