Dear Fritz,

Just wanted to say big thanks! Tell you honestly I never fully appreciated the work you do until I spent some time on a few very slightly ( almost not at all ) moderated Christian forums.
Quite a contrast from Crosswalk!
People there are at each other’s throats, trying to virtually poke each others eyes out.
Christian ladies and loving mothers, while addressing theological opponents use the language that makes Ann Coulter sound like Mary Poppins.
Moderators are a wonderful addition to conscience that tends to often fall asleep : )

So God Bless you richly for your dedication. You do help posters to concentrate on issues not just fight.

May I ask you also , maybe when you have some time- I now your plate is full - to add some new smilies, pretty please? It’s like shoes ( for us ladies :) - a couple of new ones never hurt!! Because the conversation is virtual all the extra help to express yourself is helpful.

Hi! My name is Pastor Pam. I new to the community. I look forward to sharing here. This is the first time I've had the time to become a part of a community like this. I hope to learn much here, and to make many friends.

I'm 54 years old, and I'm a junior at Albertus Magnus College. I am majoring in English Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing. I just became a member of the National Honor Society. I have two websites and two blog sites. God recently instructed me to combine all my works into one place. I am working on this now. I am also writing my first manuscript! I have set a date for the end of the summer as the deadline for the completion of my manuscript. I'd like to have it in print by the end of the year. This is my year for breakthrough. This is my year for blessings.

I am the mother of two boys--Marcus 19 and Tony 18. They live in Boston with their aunt. God is good and greatly to be praised.

Hi. I'm an old guy (81) floundering around in an ocean of enfants terrible (internet chatrooms). Actually, I'm not much of a chatterbox. I'm the strong, silent type. Well, silent anyway. But my interest was aroused by a thread I came across on this site: Do we need a third party? I have recently been involved in a similar thread on Alan Keyes' Renew America Forum http://www.renewamerica.us/forum/?date=070523&a=82 . I hope I can find your thread again. Seem to have lost it at the moment. You've got a bunch of them.

I'm a Christian, so I like your rules here. You seem to have everything under control, unlike some other free-for-all chatrooms I have stumbled into. You can find my Christian testimony at www.afoolforChrist.com

Hi Fritz, I'm sure you won't remember me, but I was a moderator back in 1999 (I think) my name was AutumnRose. Anyway, I've been away for awhile, but it's good to be back! Take care.

Just so y'all know... fudge season is now open.

You may commence sending your favorite Community Manager your donations of this requirement for life.

*grinz*

Best Ever List:

Chocolate Fudge - Thortons
Peanut Butter Fudge - Rom828

Since when did fudge season ever finish ?

Do you really have a Thorntons there or do you import?

I absolutely LOVE what I'm doing.

That's cos he's paid in fudge!

I started my career in Crosswalk.com chat in 1997. I was just a regular JoeChatter who had started a chat ministry networking with other Christians in the Chatroom to serve and minister and pray with people who were hurt and searching for answers.
You know Fritz has left out quite a bit if his career history from way back...

And forgive me if you don't want all this shared Fritz, I hope it's not too much...

Fritz worked and had a family and made an incredible commitment and sacrifice way back to spend time with folks he may never met because he believed that in some strange way this medium of the internet was where God wanted him to be ~ and he was blessed to have a wife who supported him in this.

Not only did he start a prayer chain (and I can't begin to count the times I've been on the receiving end of this) but he sent out a fairly regular email that was something very special. I don't best know how to describe them except to say they were tales of people whose lives were changed by God's intervention. Fritz, I'm sorry if I didn't say that right... They were very straightforward and clear. I have one (it keeps appearing around my house) still about a slave girl and some knights.

Fritz, you are as far as joining CW is concerned a lil older than me and you were one of the first people that I really got to know. And gosh, hasn't this place changed. Tell you one thing, hasn't changed as much as the way my faith has changed, because of you and Mrs Fritz.

I am so glad I had the privilge of meeting you both way back when we were both a lot younger and you didn't have 5 children. Thank you for making that trip.

May God bless you and keep you and fill all your pockets with fudge

Awww ... Agapetos you were an instrumental part in affirming God's direction in my life.

Fudge season is anytime after summer temps which tend to transform fudge into goo.

We don't have any of those blessed establishements oft referred to as Thorntons. (I call it God's candyshop)

We certainly aren't getting fudge that turns to goo at the moment, though I wish we were cos it might make the slugs go away

And I don't have a Thorntons in the town I live in... however I do have this wonderful lil sweetie shop just up the road that sells fudge just like Thorntons... and then there's always Mrs Taylor from the WI who makes the stuff herself You'd be spoilt for choice here Fritz!

Hey, Fritz!
Seems like you're cut out for this job! I'm a writer, but have never done much online stuff. I've never even blogged before; guess I'm too old-school. I've been to New Jersey twice: once when we were visiting friends in New York, and once when we took a two-week road trip through New England. Most of that trip was spent visiting lighthouses in Maine, since I'm enamored with lighthouses; but each of the states in your part of the country has its own attractions. I bet it's awesome when the leaves are in their autumn splendor! So, be honest: which is better? New Jersey or Kansas? I haven't checked out many of the forums yet, but plan to do so soon. Which are your favorites?

Hello Fritz,
Did you know every time I see your name I think of the game (in Humor & Games) called 'Change up to 2 letters'? Reason being, with the change of the correct 2 letters, you could change Fritz and have it come out to spell my last name.

I don't think you remember me; can't think any reason why you should or would; None-the-less, I've been around these forums since our real names were our handles or log in names.

Just wanted to say: It's nice to just be able to say "Hello".

God bless,
Pat

You can look at my blog on Myspace.

That'll give you an idea of my style.

But then, you used to get some of my devotions before... way way back.

Fritz!!! That was nearly a decade ago (can you believe it?) ~ half the time I don't remember what I had for lunch yesterday and you want me to remember that far back!

And there was me thinking I was the crazy one...

Ok, so I do remember them and I think I even have some still tucked away... they were pretty good back then...
