And the interaction between the sheriff and the other guy in charge (the one with the ex-wife he works with) is pretty funny, too.

He's such a stinker. I loved it when he was reluctant to use the "untested on humans" technology because it could be dangerous..... until he heard that Carter was the one who would be using it!

And the deadpan way that he said it was hysterical!

I missed the first half - I saw the part just before the scene you mentioned, so I'll have to catch up on Friday when they repeat it.

I'm really glad we got to watch this episode.

...

Wait, I said "we" again, didn't I? How long is this supposed to last?

I love his house, SARAH. That was too funny when "she" wouldn't let him in the door and he had to sweet-talk her.

The baseball game at the end was interesting...weird...but cool in a seriously geeky sort of way.

My favorite part was when Carter told his daughters new boyfriend "Are you aware that I have a gun..... I'm a really good shot... Just saying...."

I am certain they will renew it, as the episode pilot had twice the viewer rating of both Stargates.

Maybe it's getting popular because so many areas of modern day living point to hi-tech "everything," that it's just good to see a good ole boy Sheriff holding his own amongst all the genuises.

I really like this show.....any comic books fans out there notice the resemblence of Nathan Stark to Iron Man Tony Stark? Its uncanny.

Does that mean that Nathan is going to become a quadrapalegic drug addict?

I do recall Tony Stark hitting the booze and then hitting rock bottom but not paralized and on drugs. Of course it has been years since I have even picked up any comics.....i just thought they looked alike and had similar names and income.

I'm glad that Henry didn't leave after all (or at least haven't left yet). He just might be my favorite character.

On another note, do they not have dental records in Eureka??? Seriously, the body in this week's episode looked like it still had it's teeth. I'd think it'd be at least an order of magnitude easier to scan in someone's teeth and compare them to the, undoubtably, digitized dental x-rays, than to try and reconstruct enough of someone's genome to get a positive match.

Ah, but why use common sense when you have all that gee-whiz technology? Seriously, I think that's part of the show's appeal, too. We're bombarded with all this dizzying modern technology, so it feels good to see an ordinary person like us who gets confused, too.

I thought that was funny because I come from a family with a LOT of engineers. It actually made perfect sense because they can NEVER do anything the easy way!

I was glad to see Henry stayed as well. Just wish the season wasn't already over!

Well, I'm sure no one is suprised by this, especially given Saxsoon's comments, but:

Eureka has been renewed! YEA!

I am sooo glad it was renewed! I just really enjoy this show and every week I have had a different favorite. Even Zoe grew on me.

Well, Eureka is back! How did everyone like the season opener?

I really liked it. I thought it was a great episode. I'm not thrilled about Henry holding a grudge, but it is in character for him to do just what he did.

Carter's reactions to having knowledge of the alternate future he lived through were fantastic. Trying to pull off a Groundhog Day type thing, but rapidly realizing that the future-past he was used to isn't going to be future that will happen was fantastic.

I just don't get into this show. In a way I wish I did, since it's on in the middle of the week when few other new shows are on.

Do you mean not good for the people involved, or not good for the plot of the show?

Either way, it seems just to be an exaggeration of what Henry's character has been so far. He's had a grudge against Global Dynamics, and he's stuck around anyway because he's so stubborn, almost passive aggressive in a way. Now that type of stubborn refusal to let go of the past is being taken to an even more unhealthy state.

I like this show. Yeah, when Henry went and broke that memory thingy and was like "I'll never forget". My jaw dropped!

I hope the show doesn't end up getting too dark. I really liked the lightheartedness of it.

I guess they just set up the seasoning finale with the season opener all in one.

So what sort of devilish doings will Henry cook up for his revenge?

Stay tuned
