Praise the Lord!! I hope all is well for everyone tonight. I have been reading and meditating on Psalm 15. This psalm references being holy and righteous before the Lord. Psalm 15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? The answer: Those who walk uprightly, those who worketh righteousness, those who speak the truth from their heart, those who don't use their tongues as weapons of poison, those who don't do evil towards their neighbor, those who despise sinners, those who keep their promises, those that willingly lend without charging interest, those that can't be bribed to lie about those that are innocent. The Lord says the person that does these things shall never be moved. A little food for thought.

Praise the Lord!!! Today I am still on what I call a rollercoaster. I have been seeking God as to what He would specifically have me to do with my life. You guys, it's stressing me out. Is seeking God supposed to be stressful? On top of that there are uncertainies regarding my job. I am sure we will have another meeting concerning our job status. Either way I am trying to focus on the Lord. I know countless others are going through similiar trials regarding their employment. You just never know day to day what is going to happen. I guess that is why it is important to read the Word of God daily. So when the trials come, you will have His Word in your spirit to help you overcome the trials. Well that is all for right now. I am off tomorrow which is good. I have alot of things that I need to accomplish. Sweet dreams!!!

Praise the Lord!!! It seems as if I am suffering from insomnia tonight. I talked to one of my pastors earlier and I began to tell her how I am experiencing so much stress in seeking God. I told her it is my sincerest desire to do the will of the Lord. The Lord has spoken some things to me, but He wasn't very specific nor did He give me a timetable. She told me that sometimes God doesn't reveal His plan all at once. Sometimes He reveals a little at a time. She advised me to be patient and wait on the Lord. The scripture my pastor reminded me of was Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord and he inclined unto me and heard my cry. I told my pastor how I desire to marry a godly man and have a family. I desire to complete my education. I desire to serve God and His people. Right now it seems as if the resources I need is out of my reach.I know I must not worry and be anxious for nothing. All I am doing is making myself miserable. Seeking God should be a joy and not a strain.

Praise the Lord!!! All is well for right now. My 6yr old niece is in Kindergarten again this year. She had to repeat kindergarten because of her illness (see previous posts). She is so excited and eagerly looks forward to each school morning. Her experience with kindergarten last year was kind of rough. Because of the damage to her brain, learning for her takes place at a slower pace than other kids. She was taunted by classmates last year because she couldn't say her ABC's and because of her weight gain. My praise is to God that she hasn't had a stroke in about 5 months. No one can really know how grateful to God I am. My prayer is that this school year will be better for her. I have prayed so much for this little girl that I actually heard myself praying in my sleep on her behalf. God has answered my prayers and I believe He will continue to do so. God is awesome and I am thankful. I am still seeking and praying to God. I can't give up on God because He isn't going to give up on me. I am kind of like Peter when Jesus asked the twelve disciples if they were going to leave him as the others left him. This was after Jesus told the disciples that they would have to eat His flesh and drink His blood (John 6:53). Although, Jesus statement was meant to be taken figuratively and not literally. Many of the disciples said that it was a hard saying (John 6:60). Peter answered Jesus's question: Lord to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life (John 6:68). I ask myself: "Where else am I going to go? Jesus is the only One who can bring fulfillment and meaning to my life. He is the reason I move and have my being. The world has no good thing to offer me apart from Jesus Christ.

Praise the Lord!!! This week has been ok so far. My laptop isn't working correctly. I am going to have to send it to a repair center in Texas. I asked the technician if there was a repair center in my state that I could take my laptop to get it repaird. He told me that I would have to ship my laptop to Texas--thousands of miles away. I am glad my laptop is still under warranty. Hopefully they will be able to repair it with no charge to me. It will take approx. 10 to 15 business days before I am able to get my laptop back. It's going to be hard without my laptop as I spend a great deal of my time surfing the net. Well then again, it maybe a blessing in disguise....perhaps I will be able to spend more time reading the Lord's word. If I can I will check back with you guys using someone else's computer of course. The Lord has put alot on my heart. It just seems as if I don't have time to share it all!!!

Praise the Lord!!! I am FINALLY back online!!! My laptop is fixed. Thank God. I am still fighting the good fight of faith. The Lord has been dealing with me extensively about trusting Him and being one of His disciples. I have had to search my heart deeply. Am I willing to take up my cross and follow Jesus no matter what the cost? I know Jesus's disciples faced many dangers such as death, beatings, and was often ostracized for being a follower of Jesus. They were willing to sacrifice all for Jesus. Jesus used His disciples mightly to spread the good news. Many believed and were saved. There's much work to be done. And I am convinced Jesus will continue the great work He has begun in me. Lord thank you for saving a wretched soul like me. You have taught me how to live according to Your Word. I still make mistakes, but I know You are a forgiving God. Hear my heart and I know that I love You very much and I want You to use me. Even when things don't go my way, help me to choose to trust You anyway. Thanking and Loving You always, Psalm100.

Praise the Lord!!! I kinda of feel sad today. I took my brother earlier to go look for a job. He has filled out applications everywhere. And still no job. He recently got married and it is hard for one person to pay all of the bills. My heart just goes out to him and the countless others who are seeking work. My brother gets a little frustrated but for the most part he is being persistent in his job search. My brother has done things in his past that is hindering his progress now. He is saved and I know that God has wiped his slate clean. That's why I tell people especially young people to be mindful of the decisions they are making today. God is a forgiving God, but often times he will allow us to experience the consequences of our decisions. Especially, when we make decisions without consulting him. Sometimes we want to do things OUR way. Take for instance the case of David. He saw Bathsheba and was immediatley filled with lust. He only wanted what his eyes could see. And then to make matters worse he arranged to have Batsheba's husband killed. One of the consequences of David's decision was the fact that his baby died. David sinned and God allowed him to feel the sting of his decision. The best thing David could have did was literally FLEE from the temptation. I am praying for my brother as well as others who are in the same situation. I have been laid off before and it was an unpleasant experience. Being unemployed not only takes a financial toll on you, but also it can affect a you emotionally. I had to depend soley on God in which I am doing right now. Thankfully, I am still employed and I am grateful. Please join me in prayer that God will open new doors of opportunity for those seeking work. Our God is faithful and hears the prayers of His children.

Praise the Lord!! I hope all is going well with all of you. I just returned home from church and now I am getting ready to work my part-time job. Yesterday was stressful. Nothing turned out the way I had planned. But nevertheless, I am still here to give God glory and praise. Besides, yesterday is the past and I must move forward. Please if you feel led pray for members of my family. They are involved in some things they should not be involved in. These different situations have the potential to destroy their lives. I am praying and interceding for them. The last days are here. We never know when Jesus will return or when death will be upon us. It's time to get ready. We must work while it is day. For when night comes no man can work. Watch and pray.

Praise the Lord!!! I hope all is well with the saints of God tonight. I had a very busy day today. I didn't have to work today so I tried to get everything on my "to do list" completed before tomorrow. I also managed to spend time with my family today. We had dinner and everybody was happy. I am so thankful to God for my family. My parents and all of my brothers and sisters are alive and well. I try not to take any of God's blessings for granted. Greg Laurie, who is a pastor at Harvest Christian Fellowship, has written several blogs about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Interestingly enough, I have been studying this topic for awhile. I am amazed at God when He teaches you His Word. I needed more clarity and understanding on the topic and lo and behold Pastor Greg wrote about the very same topic on his blog. I have a greater understanding of discipleship. I am praying that God will help me to be one of His true disciples. It's not enough to just read and hear the word and then not do what is instructed of us. Ok, now I think I am going to read a few chapters in my Bible and then I am off to bed. I have church in the morning and work tomorrow afternoon. Lord give me strength!!! Good Night Everyone!!!

Praise the Lord!!! I hope all is well tonight. The Lord has been dealing with me in so many areas. I am trying to consume it all. The one thing that He has dealt with me about is what kind of advice are you giving people who come to you seeking advice for a problem or situation? Are you giving them wise counsel? Are you able to give them biblical counsel? Can you direct them to the Word of God that reaffirms the advice you have given him or her? Proverbs 24:6 states For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety. People will come to us seeking advice and wisdom. As christians we should be prepared to give them godly wisdom. God is going to hold us accountable for every idle word we speak (Matthew 12:36). If you don't know what to say to the person seeking advice, offer to pray with him or her. God will give us wisdom if we ask and ask in faith (James 1:5,6). I take this responsibility seriously. If we offer wordly advice, what will that say about our relationship with Jesus?

Praise the Lord!!! I can hardly believe fall is here. The weather in my town has turned cool. I even had to turn on my heat today. Everything seems to be going ok right now. I am trying not to be anxious about the future. God has everything in control. I am listening to a sermon based on the parable of the rich fool (Luke 12:13-21). Good teaching is all I can say!!!! With all of the health and wealth feel good messages invading our churches today, it seems good to listen to a balanced thorough teaching of the Word of God. Be blessed everyone!!!

Praise the Lord!!! Psalm 139:23 Search me O God and know my heart, try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. This is my heart's cry tonight. I ask the Lord: Are there any attiutudes, thoughts, or actions in my life that are displeasing to you? What needs to be changed in my life? Can I love or give a little more, especially to those who don't care about me? Can I give without seeking anything in return? Every once in awhile, I think it does a person good to ask the Lord to search your heart. Alot of times, a person may seem like they have it altogether. When deep down inside, a person is filled with greed, selfish ambition, pride, lust, hatred and other works of the flesh. These type of attitudes should not characterize a child of God. Sure, a person is going to sin. And thank God that Jesus is our mediatior and is ready to forgive us when we ask. One of our mission is to bear good fruit for the Kingdom of God. The world is watching and most of all God is watching.

Praise the Lord!! I just recently came back from my parent's house. We had a little birthday get together for my mother. Everyone showed up. We had dinner and fellowshipped with one another. I had to leave a little early because I have to work in the morning. I have two work both of my jobs this weekend. It's going to be a grueling schedule for me. I need all the rest I can get. Please if you feel led to pray for my brothers. Both of them are unemployed and are having a difficult time finding work. They are both depressed. I am standing in faith that God will open a door of opportunity for them. I think being unemployed bruises their ego. My brother stated that he doesn't seem like a provider for his family. I feel sympathy for them and others who are unemployed. I don't expect it to be me unemployed, but it can happen to me. Right now I am staying focused on God no matter what comes my way. Enjoy your weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!

Praise the Lord!!! Yall, I can't stop crying. This has been a very difficult week for me. Usually, my faith is strong and I can endure. Tonight, I feel like a ton of weights are weighing me down. I have recalled the things the Lord has specifically spoken to me since I committed my life to Him. Has God forgotten about me? My dreams? My hopes? My future? Hopefully this crying spell will be over soon and I can see the Lord's promises and His faithfulness.

Praise the Lord!!!! I am doing better. God is working on me and helping me to get through my difficulties. This time of year always seem to be sad. It's been almost 2yrs ago since my grandmother made her grand entrance into Heaven. It has been tough for my family and me. We all miss her and at times I long for her to be here with our family. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the two occasions where her absence will be missed the most. God will get my family and me through this season of mourning. As for me, I was reading in the Book of Acts chapter 16 where Paul and Silas were locked up in jail for speaking out against a girl possesed by a demon. They began to sing praises to God in the midst of their confinement. I can imagine they were probably cold and could have easily given into despair and fear. Instead they lifted their voices in praise to God. The other prisoners heard them and probably were encouraged. I guess there's a lesson to be learned from Paul and Silas. Rejoice in the midst of your tribulation. Believe God and His promises. Share the Gospel with others and let your light shine in this dark and evil world. Just when you think God has forgotten about you, He performs a miracle right before your eyes just as He did for Paul and Silas. The doors of the jail became opened and the people were loosed from their bands. The jailer accepted Jesus as His Savior as well as his household.

Praise the Lord!!! I am glad it's Friday. I have to work my pt-time job Saturday and the rest of the weekend I have to myself. I am getting a little better each day. I just need to get back to my Bible reading and prayer. I kinda of had the wind knocked out of my sails for the past couple of weeks. It seems as if God has me in a "molding season". During this season things seem "dead". Nothing comes to fruition. It's a season when God seems silent on certain issues. I have to get to a point whether God answers my prayers or not I have to keep seeking Him. If God never does anything else for me, I have to still love Him with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. I think sometimes God is more concerned with our growth more so than our comfort and ease. Nothing came easy for Jesus. He suffered greatly. He even knew in advanced what was going to happen to Him. Yet, He perservered through His trials. Shouldn't we do the same?

Praise the Lord!!! Guys, I really need prayers. Once again my emotions are all over the place. I am praying that God will speak to me about my life and what direction I need to take. I am at a standstill. I don't know what do or what to think at this point. I know one thing for sure: my life is in God's hand. I don't want to move in my flesh and make even more of a mess in my life. I so desperately need to hear God.

Praise the Lord!!! I am still here only by the grace of God. I have been battling depression the past couple of weeks. Some days I can manage and other days I am almost ready to cave in. At this point, all I can do right now is pray to my God to pull me out of this dark hole. I have been trying to listen to gospel music and meditating on the Lord's Word. It has been a tough journey. All I have right now is Jesus. The weather in my area has turned very cold when we were just in the mid 70s last week. That's all for now. Please keep me in your prayers.

Praise the Lord!!! I am still here by the grace and mercy of God. I sense the Lord telling me in the past couple of days to relax and trust Him. I have allowed my difficulties to get in the way of me trusting God completely. It's a bad place to be in. When things don't go right I tend to get worried and up tight. God is working on me though and for that I am grateful. I was reading in the Book of Luke chapter 21 verses 34-37 when Jesus was telling His disciples to remain watchful concerning His return. The words He told His disciples apply to believers today. I payed closed attention to verse 34 which reads in the NLT Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkeness, and by the worries of this life.... How many of us are worried about the economy, our jobs, finances, evil doers, and other situations which have the potential to keep us from focusing on God and His Kingdom? Many are living sinful lifestyles with no regard to God's Word. We sometimes chase after pleasure such as sex, careers, and relationships thinking that they are going to bring fulfillment and meaning to our lives. Jesus tells us not do this. So what are we supposed to be doing? We need to watch and pray. Intercede for our families, nations, and communities. Spread God's Word. Many people would love to know who Jesus is only if someone will tell them. The tasks seem great, but we must be up for the challenges. Souls are at stake.
