I would appreciate a little prayer about my working life.
I am grateful I have a fulltime job, reasonably well-paid.
The problem is, I am bored silly with it. Our company, like many companies in our area at the moment, is having a quiet time anyway, and for the past several weeks I have had literally hours of having nothing to do. It would be okay if it was the kind of setup where I could knit, or work on my webpage, or something, but we aren't allowed to do any of that stuff.
I don't mind boring work if there is work to do, but doing nothing is barely bearable!  I try to fill time by reading through the company website - which also gets very boring after a while! And there'll be a limit to how much of that there is to read, too! LOL.
I have asked the Lord if I should look for another job (wouldn't leave this one without having obtained another one first) but the immediate impression upon my heart seems to be "No - wait." So I'm trying to wait ...
Lord Jesus, please let work get busier ... please direct my work path. Amen.

Lord, I lift Keabird up to You now. I pray that you would fill her with peace as she waits on You. Give her wisdom and direction. I pray that You would use this quiet time for Your glory. Fill her with your presence as she works and help her through this time. Give her supernatural favor with her employer and I pray for more work, even a promotion if that is Your will. Bless her Lord.
