Hello. I'm looking for the artist who sang a mellow-ish Christian song 20 years ago called "Time" that got a lot of radio play. I could have SWORN that it was a Bruce Carroll song, but the title doesn't come up on any of his albums, and the webmaster for his website insists that it isn't him. I tried to google some of the lyrics / lines that I remember, but I got nada. Some examples: "The wind blows, listen . . . what does it mean? Is it cold like a nightmare, or warm as a dream?" "Time . . . time will end . . . and when it does, you will rest forever in the Father's hands. Let go . . . you've got to let go . . . and let the Lord of all the ages be the Lord of your soul." Any help would be appreciated! God bless.

I'm only getting Crumbacher (a late 80s technopop / rock band) but thats probably not it.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm pretty sure it isn't him! However, I really like Crumbacher's song "Here Am I." The "Time" song is pretty similar in tone.

I believe "Time" was sung by Bobby Michaels, from an album of the same name, released in 1988. I stil have the album, but I'm pretty sure it's currently out of print.

...it is indeed Bobby Michaels. Other good songs from the "Time" album were "Come And Enter His Presence" and "My Redeemer Is Faithful And True". I liked his voice and bought the album back in '88. These songs got fairly good airplay on Christian radio back then.

Awesome! Thanks for the info! I tried to get on his website, but things are under construction there at the moment. Looks like I'll have to go to Amazon.com to get a copy!

Glad you found the correct song. I remember only Phil Keaggy's Time: Well he hasn't always been around and he won't always be. But he's on the move at this moment measuring life for you and me. His name is Time and he's coming to an end, His name is Time, where will you be my friend? It was on Keaggy's Love Broke Through album (studio recording) and a live version was on How the West Was One
