Costco.

Least favorite in my town is Ross. I won't even go in my town's store anymore.

We have Dollar Stores--everything is $1.00! Sometimes you can get name brand paper products and shampoo and stuff. And at holiday time it is fabulous! It does take patience and sometimes several trips to get what you want--but hey a $1--it's worth it.

There are several local thrift stores I like to visit and Target. Love Target. Most of the Walmarts around me are too dirty, noisy and unorganized for me so I don't shop there a lot.

I do about half my grocery shopping at Wal-Mart or Sams, and half at Aldi. The Aldi chain is growing now, but when we moved to Indianapolis in 1999, I had never heard of it. They sell mostly their own store-brand merchandise, and usually (but not always) it's way cheaper than anywhere else. Surprisingly, their brands are usually decent, too.

Wal-mart should be burnt to the ground.
