Shopping for non-school things (basic household stuff) as the stores seem to morph into a frenzy much like feeding time at the zoo.

Getting migraines from the residual pseudo-stress generated around back to school even though I'm not in school, not teaching, and not a mom

i dont stress that easily. but i hate how my college (maybe all colleges...?) are determined to waste as much of your time as they possibly can. and to make your bum sore when you are waiting in those hard metal chairs for three hours at 6 am.....

I love it all! Not a bit stressful for me! My children love school for the most part! The most stressful part for them is waiting to see what teachers they are assigned and who's in their classes. No I can't say it is stress free for me. The most stressful part is getting the kids' closets and dressers figured out and figuring out what they need clothes wise for the school year. I hate dealing with buying new clothes and cleaning closets.

The heavy traffic to get in to work in the morning and the school buses that can hold me up for 15 - 20 minutes if I don't leave early enough to get in front of them.

We home school and back to school happens the same time as canning and freezing season! Also working a school schedule around a working teen. As far as public school goes...I agree with everyone that complained about school buses. (Especially when there's a group of them and they are going across train tracks!!!!)

In my area the buses stop at every driveway to pick up the kids.

Back to school means time for sanity to me!! :P
Jk, I do find it stressful trying to purchase everything for 11 kids (this year). From school supplies to clothing, it's very hard on the pocket book.
Otherwise, it is a time to live by the clock and that is a refreshing thing when you have kids and teens all wanting to do something different at the same time.
All complaining aside, I love my kids!
