Most of the movies that I like are romantic girly movies. I think that it would be good if I could broaden my horizens and find a few guy movies that I like. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Define "clean"? No sex, drugs, rock-n-roll, cursing (minor ones or the bombs) or violence? If so, Veggietales!! or Facing the Giants or something....

I like the Jim Caviezel version of "The Count of Monte Cristo" (PG-13, but mostly for swordfights and stuff). Also, check out "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" (PG), if you're looking for comic book type movies. I like the James Bond films, and most of those are PG. Indiana Jones 1 and 3 (Raiders and Last Crusade) are good bets, too. If you're looking for older films, check out some Errol Flynn movies like "The Adventures of Robin Hood" and "The Sea Hawk". They're both brilliant. You usually won't be able to go wrong with a John Wayne flick, either. Most guys like the Star Wars movies, and they're all PG (except episode 3, which is PG-13, but isn't much worse). If you can stand foreign language films, try watching "The Seven Samurai". Hollar if you need more!

I'll second the John Wayne suggestion. Abbot and Costello, Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Did anyone mention Peter Sellers yet? He did the Pink Panther series. But far better, and lesser-known, are Dr. Strangelove, and The Party. The Party is the clueless male taken to the nth degree. Tough to find but worth the effort, trust me; have kleenex handy because you'll be laughing so hard. Peter Fonda is great in Fail-Safe, roughly parallel to Dr. Strangelove in theme. The Bedford Incident, with Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier. Cat-and-mouse between a Russian sub and an American sub-chaser (IIRC), with a very unexpected outcome. The Hunt for Red October (Sean Connery).

Thank you for the movie suggestions so far! It seems like it is hard to find a lot of movies that are perfectly clean. It is ok if the recommendations are pg or pg 13.

The Princess Bride. Despite the title, it is a guy movie. "My name is Diego Montoya. Prepare to die."

I believe it was Inigo Montoya. Just so we're clear!
