I've looked and looked and didn't see an answer to this.

What is the little yellow dot that sits next to the thread title?
I thought it was for threads with polls, but they don't all have polls.
I thought it was for threads that I have not read, but there are lots that I haven't read that have the dots
It's not for a thread with new posts, because they don't all have new posts.

What does it mean?
