I want to start taking vitamins, but, due to health issues, unable to swallow most pills. Can you recommend some really good tasting chewable type vitamins or liquid vitamins?

Thanks..

C

you can always take Flintstones. =)

I've not tried the liquids yet, but GNC has some liquids. They claim to have a flavor added... but I haven't been that brave yet.

I can't imagine any of them tasting good but I think they have them at natural foods markets as well.

I took a liquid multi for a long time called "Liquid Health." It was yum. No one sells it here anymore and I've been too lazy to buy it online. The big drawback was that it had to remain refrigerated.

This isn't bad at all:

Seven Seas Multivitamin Syrup

I also use their chewable (liquid centre) Zinc and Vitamin C (it's forest fruit flavour)

Liquid vitamins are the best because your body absorbs more of them, or you can take a vitamin that has multiple servings. The pills are usually a bit smaller, plus they are the best second alternative to the liquid vitamins because you are constantly feeding your body with them, plus I have read that if you take one multi they are so compact that your body is unable to absorb all they have to offer.

Do they still make Geritol? I remember taking that as a teenager. Tasted like blackstrap molasses with vitamins added.

I take an adult chewable multi-vitamin from Trader Joe.

I can't swallow pills and take Vitafusion adult gummy vitamins. They taste great (except the Omega 3 those were nasty) too. If you are a Costco member they also carry them too (I'm not a member but have seen them online.)

Also if you have a Vitamin Shoppe (that's the store name) they also have their own adult gummy version.

Nutrilite has some liquid vitamins that you add to water (REAL vitamin water without the sugar and calories) in the areas of immunity, antioxidants, sport (like Gatorade/Propel), and joint health. It's only accessible online or by distributors: www.nutrilite.com
