Hi everyone! I haven't been to this forum in so long....I've missed reading the posts and the love and fellowship that is shared here. So it's good to be here.
I left my home and my husband of 30 years on July 25th. My hope and prayer is that we will have another 30 years together as man and wife but that our marrige be safe, loving and Godly as God intended it to be. I've left and returned many times over the last 30 years, our lives have been filled with abuse and dysfunction for the entire time. My husband has a anger/rage problem and is in complete denial. Over the years he has become an expert at placing the blame, responsibility and guilt on my shoulders. And I became an expert at believeing him. Finally I have gotten to the place where "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH". I can't see my family suufer this way anymore...IT HAS TO STOP. My thrist and desperation for a relationship with the Lord is what has lead me to be where I am today. At home I am not allowed to browse christian websites, attend church, or have friends. His reason? I don't have enough sense...someone will convince me I'm abused..." Well, since leaving on the 25th I have been to church everytime the doors are opened!! How it fills my soul and refreshens me! (thank you Jesus!) I have a lot of healing to do yet.....I have to learn to "rethink my thinking", and I actually still feel compassion and pity for my husband, I love him, sometimes I have to snap myself out of it and remind myself, in the end we will all be stronger and healthier if we will endure through this time of change and confusion...so please, pray for us all. Our family is in desperate need of healing and renewal, as are so, so many others. Let's all band together in fellowship in love and support one another in these times when families are being devided and destroyed everyday.
Thank you to all of you for your love, wisdom and comfort.
IN HIS LOVE

Oh Lord,
Rain Your love down on this woman. Live in her! Fill her with the fruits of the spirit, and with love and acceptance that can only come from You.
Please open the eyes, mind, and heart of her husband to see reality unskewed. Bring him to repentance. Bring him to You.
In the name of Jesus I pray,
Amen

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and love. I can't tell you the peace I recieve when I know that our family is being lifted up before our Lord.
"Jesus, I give You praise and glory on this day, thank You for Your faithfulness and unfailing love. I thank you for the saints here who gather together in Your Holy Name to offer their love, support and fellowship. I ask today Father that you would strenghten them and refresh them in their own daily struggles and may they keep their faces turned toward you. In JesusName Amen"

Hang in there, Girl. You are right in saying the "time of change" is where strength is needed. I know what you mean.

Father, I lift this sister to You. Thank You Lord that her husband is Your problem not hers! We ask You to heal her and all family members who have been impacted somehow by this longterm situation. We ask You to touch this man's life Lord, in such a way he knows it is outside of his wife but from You.

We ask You to strengthen her and heal her through this breaking of a cycle and establishment of healthy living. We ask You to draw her along with You, that she be refreshed and renewed.

We ask Your mercy on all involved. In Jesus Name.
amen

Lord Jesus we thank you for every brand new day of your new mercies and new graces, and we praise you for you are El-Roi the God who Sees, Jehovah-Jireh the God who Provides, and Jehovah-Rapha the God who Heals. We ask Lord Jesus that you keep mymanna and her family safe within your strong arms and bring them relief and real hope. Give her the mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and relational healing and strength she needs. Surround mymanna with good Christian friends who will stand with her and support her. Bless her beyond measure Lord, for choosing You in her circumstances. We ask these petitions based on the promises of your Holy Word, that they be done in the power of your Holy Spirit, in your good will and timing, and to the Glory of your Kingdom. In Jesus name ... amen.
