The joke about the tuna sandwich in another forum reminded me of this old chestnut:
This pastor dies and goes to heaven. He's surprised to find that his accomodations are comfortable, but modest. He's okay with that, until he sees this guy who is given much better living quarters, much better food, and a lot more honor in heaven than he.
The pastor asks who the guy is. It turns out he drove a taxicab on earth. At this, the pastor voices his discontent to a passing angel. "I don't mean to complain, but I devoted my whole life to spreading the word of the Lord, and to bringing people into a closer relationship with God. What has this taxicab driver done that merits so much honor?"
"I hate to tell you this, Reverend", says the angel, "but when you were preaching, some of your audience was sleeping. When this cabbie was driving, his passengers would start praying!"
