How many of you like to tan?

I know it is a popular trend amongst the younger generation to the point of many ignoring skin cancer risks and staying out in the sun and/or on tanning beds way too long....

I'm curious about those who do tan if they follow safety precautions consistently?

How do you get the optimal tan, while remaining safe? Do you use sunless tanners? ....How much exposure to UV light do you need to get your personal optimal tan color?

Do you plan to stop as you get older? Does the risks of pre-mature aging skin and skin cancer affect your decisions?

In my young years tanning was a short lived past time. I developed a mild skin rash on my arms from it which made me quit.
