Mike Rosen played this interview on his broadcast today. It is an interview with Gov. Palin in August with CNBC. After watching this interview, I am even more confident in Gov. Palin's intelligence and ability to handle herself in a leadership position. She doesn't just tick off talking points, rather she speaks very fluently with authority on the issues. Very well done.

Great interview. I look forward to any debate she has with Biden regarding energy policy. This is obviously her strong suit.

She would tear Biden apart. However, I have a feeling Slow Joe won't be the VP candidate much longer. We may very well be seeing a Palin-Clinton debate in October.

They can't do that, lol... ( I mean they can, but....)

Do you realize how weak that would make Obummer appear in his decision making processes?? He has already "changed" his tune so many times as to come across as, well........I will leave it at that

.... I should hope she can speak to energy operations in her own state.

...and how does using the last of our energy reserves make America more secure? Isn't it time to steer our energy consumption away from fossel fuels? The future is in alternative fuels...the opportunity is there if American cares to exploit it.

She addressed those concerns in the interview.

We have enough untapped oil to easily last a century or more. While that is being used, we have plenty of time to develop other energy sources. McCain and Palin have said this repeatedly. We need more nuclear, more coal, more natural gas, and more oil while we perfect other energy sources such as solar, wind, hydrogen, geothermal, etc. Shutting off the oil spigot cold turkey would throw the US economy into actual chaos (as opposed to the imaginary recession the libs like to pretend we are in now). The technology to transition into non-hydrocarbon energy sources is not there yet, so we need to buy tie to work on it.

Who says this is the last of our energy reserves? The whole idea of exploration is to find reserves which were not previously known about. We have much more than anyone realizes.

And just what is keeping enterprising folks from developing alternative fuels.

Who ever comes up with making fuel out of water will be able to buy and sell Bill Gates like he was an item on ebay.

But until that happens we need all the American home grown fossil fuil that we can get(while the alternative fuels are being developed).

Thanks
RC
