this is more a venting of emotions rather than looking for advice, but if you want to give me advice, I'll take it.

anyways, I am living with my mom as I look for work and am going to college to get my Masters Degree.

My mother has no life of her own an is always in my business. I've learned to try to keep my mouth shut about stuff but once in a while I do share stuff with her only to be sorry I did. I am so passive-aggressive right now and just want to tell her off, but there must be a calm, diplomatic, frank kind way to do it.

Secondly, I think I owe a former boss an amends for not taking responsibility for the mistakes I made and for blaming her for changing her mind all the time and for being micromanaging, which goes back to issues with my mom. hmmm... i am beginning to see a pattern.

lastly I do need a part time job and am getting frustrated and it is affecting my prayer life.

thanks for letting me rant.

At one time in my life I was too clingy on my husband. He told me LOVINGLY that I needed to join a book group, get a hobby, make friends, do volunteer work or SOMETHING. I took his advice and was much happier after that. Is it possible that you could have that talk with your Mom? Would she be open minded about developing her own friendships so that she didn't feel the need to focus on your life so much?

It's tough. I'm praying for you tonight, Eaglelady. God bless you and give you great wisdom. (((Hugs)))
