I am requesting prayer on my behalf concerning an individual I once knew that has resurfaced in my life. Several years ago I met a young woman that appeared to be kind and good hearted. I would later learn that she and her mother were engrossed in some very disturbing religious practices that had many ritualistic elements. The were akin to Santeria and Hoodoo and I found myself very ill when in her presence.

When I discovered the true nature of her behavior I extricated myself from the situation and cut off contact. Many things occurred while she visited me that I had no explanation for. But I felt the Lord was still watching over me in the midst of it all, even though I had been away from church for many years at that time.

I keep in touch with a few people I've befriended over the years and we have a site we frequent to talk and just hangout. Unexpectedly Lori, (the person in question) reappeared over the weekend. I wasn't certain if it was her for sure but I am now. The physical reaction along with other comments solidified she was back. I took time to pray and ask the Lord to watch over me. But I know extra prayer always helps.

God has been such a huge influence in my life as of late and my prayer life has increased dramatically. I don't know why she has reappeared after all this time, but I ask that you pray that she returns where she came from. The negative impact she had was forgiven but it is something that I would be hard pressed to forget.
