Our bills just keep going up and up every month. We pay off our credit cards each month and have not had a problem with that until the past three or four months. We've kept up but this month we don't have the $$. We really really don't want to get into a credit card debt problem. We have four kids and only buy necessities. It's all food, gas, etc. No electronics or TV's or fancy clothes on the card this month but it was still ridiculously high. (Most of my clothing is from last year and the kids' all came from garage sales.) We have no cable TV, no magazine subscriptions and we don't go out to eat, ever. We have some collectibles we can sell fast to raise the cash this month I think - I hope! But we need a longer term solution to lower our spending each month.
Please pray that God will give us wisdom in this area and will open our eyes to show us how to not spend as much each month. It doesn't help that four out of the six of us are struggling with Lyme disease. We are seeing a natural medicine doctor since regular medication isn't working well for us. We are seeing GREAT results from him. I am feeling really good for the first time in a long time. He's also gotten my husband's weight and diabetes under control and he's feeling great too. The kids too, are doing much better. But all that doesn't come cheap. :( Plus my husband's overtime from work was cut.
I sell on Ebay and our own website but sales are slow (like for everyone.) Thankfully we seem to be doing a bit better than most sellers.
Please pray for wisdom and provision. I sponsor three kids through Compassion and it's not an option for me to give them up, but I can't see how we can continue like this. I know there are so many worse off than we are, and I sure know we're not alone, but we could just use prayer. thanks in advance
