A small town just down the road from Raleigh was hit with an F-2 tornado early this morning. So far, two are confirmed dead and with one boy missing. From overhead shots from an area TV station the town looks like a war zone. The good thing is that Tarheels - even those who wear Wolfpack red or Duke blue - are great people and the town will come back.

Father,
We come to you in the name of Jesus Christ asking that you have mercy on this town. Comfort the family and friends of those who were killed. Help so that the missing boy will be found. May you move in ways that will bring honor and glory to you. Amen.

Lord I pray that you will be with these town people.
Help them as they struggle to get their lives back into some kind of order.
Be with the relief agencies as they come to help.
Lord bless them as they all come together to heal and rebuild,
Have mercy Lord and cover them with your love and grace.
Help the children Lord to feel safe and protected.
May they all rest knowing you are with them
