I feel so alone now as a widow with a young daughter starting school tomorrow. We're all prepared and everything but tonight I feel so alone. Please pray for us as I miss my husband and my daughter's daddy's presence so much I don't know how to feel confident in all of this. We went away for this Labour Day weekend and spent it with my sisters and their families and that was great but now it's back here again. Please pray for us.

Thank you.

Father we lift up our sister to Your throne of grace. You promised us that You would be a Father to the fatherless and a judge for the widow, O King we plead with You now, asking Your mercy for this woman and her daughter, comfort her, extend Your peace to their hearts, lift their spirits and encourage them in this season of pain.

Lord Jesus we thank you for another day of your new mercies and graces, for today is the day that you have made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it; and we praise you for you are the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.

We ask Lord Jesus that you send your Holy Spirit to move through Carleejoan's life and family; give them all the mental, physical, emotional, financial and spiritual strength to persevere, relieve them of emotional distress in these circumstances, and may Carleejoan and her daughter's relationship with you be strengthened, deepened, and made more intimate through these experiences.

We ask these petitions based on the promises of your Holy Word, that they be done in the power of your Holy Spirit, in your good will and timing, and to the Glory of your Kingdom. In Jesus name ... amen.

Father, we lift up Carleejoan and her daughter to You. You know Lord, and we know You love them so. Give them comfort as they continue to move forward. We know that it is in Your power, and we thank You for all that You are doing for them. Let Carleejoan's daughter have a great day at school, and come home and tell her mom something funny that happened that will put a smile on her face. Continue to comfort them and hold them close. Give them direction Lord, and bless them. In Jesus name. Amen

Thank you for the faithful prayers. I did have a tearful day after my daughter got to school. I guess that's the way grief is. It just sneaks up on you and you're an emotional basket case. My daughter did have a good first day. I was so glad. Thank you all for your concern and prayer.
