I asked the Lord "what do I write to honor you?" The Holy Spirit whispers, "listen, be patient and you shall hear". So with all my love and reverence to the Trinity this to all I wish to share...
Red like the rose from the crown of thorns from Jesus precious blood was shed for me.
Yellow as that rose signifies friendship, because Jesus is my best friend, who loves me and supplies all my needs.
Purple the mixture of blue (heavenly minded) and scarlet (signifies sacrifice), Soveriegn, Passionate, Royal Almighty Power of Jesus Christ My Lord and King.
And White because Jesus's purity washed me clean.
To each assigned a rose of a color, and last of all at the invitation to lay upon the purple robe alongside the crown of thorns, my burdens and proof of love this is my Jesus. Come quickly Oh, my blessed Lord Jesus...
Oh, Angel fly with me to the City of David nearby were my precious Jesus walked. Let me find his footprints to track each step of his journey to the Pool of Siloam. I shall kiss your feet and kneel before Your Cross. I love you oh my Jesus.
I seek comfort in you Lord. I look for your everywhere and all experiences let the Holy Spirit lead me to scritpure. Peace, comfort and joy. How else is one to think of sustaining in this world until the return of my precious Saviour? I love you, Oh Heavenly Father. I want to be with you, oh Jesus. I wake in the morning you are there, throughout my day you are by my side, and when I lay down you sit at my side until I drift into restful sleep. You are in my dreams. Oh, thank you, God for loving me. You are always there.

Welcome to the forums!
I want to preface my remarks by telling you that I am not trying to be a jerk and I say what I am about to say humbly and with love.
I do not have "love songs" to either God or Christ. I love to sing songs that praise Him, and I love to worship in song, but none of them are love songs. God is the creator of the universe, all powerful and all knowing, holy, just, and merciful. Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords. To call a song directed to either God or Christ a "love song" is to usher in a good deal of connotation that I do not believe fits the subject or the circumstance.
Sorry to sound like a stick in the mud out of the box.

Can she see God for He really is
in what she sees in you and me?
Can she God for who He really is?
For who He really is,

He steps into church and he puts up his guard
they look so happy, but his life's been so hard
he keeps his distance so they won't see the scars
it's just religion it's all dressed up in white
And God is Love as long as you're living right
But does he know that Jesus also has scars?
And His Love can reach him no matter how far?
Can he see God for who He really is
in what he sees in you and me?
can he see God for who He really is?
For who He really is, is all he really needs to see
The skeptics are watching to see who will fall
And those disillusioned will search for the Truth in it all
Maybe today we'll cross their path unaware
and they'll stop and look at us, what will be there?
Will they see God for who He really is

I'm no great song writer. One of my favorite hymns is:

What a great thread! Thanks to all who posted songs. I enjoyed special, fond memories at the thought of singing "Crown Him With Many Crowns." I recall hearing my pastor lead the congregation in this hymn, and he had such a wonderfully rich, deep singing voice. The music and the lyrics are so majestic, and build up to what at least feels like a swell of praise to God. Thanks for that. God is awesome.
The Bible does say to love God with everything we've got (sorry for the paraphrase-- we're not in Theology forums so I assume I can paraphrase and not get ripped apart), so I think that's why some of us like to declare His worth with our voices and with the creativity He has given us, through writing songs to express our response to His revelation of who He is. That includes songs of love, since He is a God of love, and since we are told to love Him.
Here's a song that I wrote after reading Exodus 33:17 (in the NLT), James 2:23, and John 15:16, on the almost paradoxical subject of being a friend of God:
Friend
Friend, You call me friend
The Ancient of Days, eternal without end
You call me friend? Am I Your friend?
Sinful and lost, I cannot pay my cost
But You say "Friend" You call me friend
And I am overcome, I become undone
When You say "Friend" to one so lost
Who hammered in the nails,
Who hung You on the cross, yet You say "Friend"
I want to know Your love for me
I want to be the very best friend that I can be
And when Your face I finally see
I know that You will welcome me
And I'll bow before You as Your friend

Amen. In fact Christ said the greatest command is this "to love the Lord your God will all your heart, soul and mind." This is the sign that one has truly been born again. David wrote beautiful love songs to God in the book of Psalms. This is indeed a great thread.
All the songs posted are wonderful. One of the love songs to God I sing is "Great Is Thy Faithfulness"

Answer To My Valentine Prayer
Father, Son, Holy Spirit,
The last time you showed me what it felt like to be in that home you are preparing it was so wonderful.
It is like you took me through each room and each room was better than the one before.
Oh what peace and joy I remember.
This time you showed me it was through suffering.
Still I am blessed because I know what I have to look forward to.
I cling to you Jesus.
I am so happy you love me and that You are my best friend.
You bring people into my life that make a difference.
Even those who do not glorify you.
It is those people too that show me what I really have.
It Is You Jesus.
I look forward to what you have to show me.
The places you are going to take me.
There is going to be something even very special for me there.
Someone is going to see You in me Jesus, and bring them to You.
