So remember this thread, where I wasn't sure what was going on?
Well things are definitely progressing between Luke and I. For the last few weeks I have been feeling really guilty about that conversation I had in the parking lot with him and it's been really bothering me. I was wondering if things would have been any different if I hadn't said the stuff that I did. I just felt in my heart that I needed to apologize to him.
So I did. I told him that I felt really bad about it, that it seemed I put him on the spot and said some things that weren't necessary. That I'd been through a lot and I took it out on the wrong person. And I gave him my sincere apologies. And since I have apologized to him, he has been very different. He has been a lot more flirty with me. He's been in a very giddy mood. He lights up when he sees me and he's been a lot different since. And I know that I have too, cause I have felt much better since I apologized to him. And things between me and him are definitely seeming to grow.
On Sunday, before I left work, I was so exhausted, tired, and sore cause I was running around not only seating my section, but basically the whole restaurant due to the newbie's mistakes. Luke was helping this woman with To Go, and she wanted some of our fresh grated cheese to take home. So Luke turned to me and was like, "Hey Breanne, can you go in the kitchen and grate some cheese in one of those little plastic cups?" So like, I was so exhausted...my knees hurt, and didn't feel like walking too much. But since he asked me, I was like, "Yeah sure." So I went in the kitchen grabbed a cheese grater and a plastic cup and started grating the cheese. Which by the way, I have never used one of those before so it was really awkward, I didn't know what I was doing and I was making a mess. I eventually filled up the cup. I put a lid on the cup and brought it out. Luke told me the lady was right behind me. And as I turned around to give her the cheese, Luke says to me, "Thanks babe." <333 OMGOSH! HE CALLED ME BABE!!! That totally made my night. I didn't care how much pain my knees were in, Luke called me 'babe'. I am so happy!!! <3
I can just see the difference in the way he looks at me from the other girls at work. He looks at me so different. Not in a buddy buddy way, but more like...... it's hard to describe. But I can see it in his eyes, it's definitely different. I definitely feel like him and I have grown closer. I've been trying to play things patiently, but yet still trying to show him that I'm interested. I've been acting a little flirty around him, and he's been doing the same.
I always hear him talking about going bike riding. So I was talking to him about that. And I told him that there are these trails near where I live that I always see people there. And I've always wanted to check it out. I told him when I move next week, I'm getting my bike from my mom's garage and I invited him to come and check out the trails with me. And he was like, "Yeah okay, that'd be cool."
I told my mom about that, and she's like, "You just asked him out!" But like, I wasn't intending it that way. I just figured since he's into biking and I'd like to also go and check out these trails, that it would be fun. And she's like, "But still, you just asked him out." LOL!!!! Wow, did I really? Hey, he said yes!!  So I'm gonna let him know when I get my bike and set it up with him. EEEEKKK!

In case anybody is wondering, since I haven't seen any responses.... Luke and I keep drawing closer by the day. It's amazing. I think God is definitely blessing this relationship. I have overheard some people talking, and I also have heard things here and there on his end that gives me the impression that he's definitely feeling something towards me.
Last night he expressed to me great appreciation for all the help I gave to him. He worked as a busser last night and he wasn't a very good one at that. I had told the manager that he was really slow, and the manager said he might have to send Luke home. So in considering Luke picked up that shift cause he needed the hours, I didn't want him to get sent home and lose the work he's trying so hard to do. I helped him a lot with cleaning tables last night. More than I usually do for whoever is working my section with me. Usually I just help set tables, but last night I cleaned whole tables, bringing a tray and carrying back plates and cups and whatnot. Many times he'd say, "Thanks so much." And even at the end of the night he said to me, "Thank you so much for everything today. You have no idea how much I appreciate all you did today. I don't know what I would have done without you."
Earlier in the night, the manager had what few of us employees left to fill out these Hero cards. Basically awarding hero of the day to somebody. We're supposed to do them every day I guess, but we don't. And last night, when I had done mine on this other host that I like to work with... Luke had done his on mine, and wrote on it, "Breanne was the best host I've ever had the pleasure to work with. She cleans tables and is oh so friendly."
I also do recall at one point, I was going through the kitchen collecting menus. Luke and the other busser were right behind me taking dishes off their trays and they were talking to the couple of dishwashers across from them. I could have SWORE that I heard one of them teasing Luke and say something like, "Oooooooh, Luke is in loooooooooove!"
It's normally loud in the kitchen, but it was so distinct, I swear that's what I heard. I know for sure over the last couple days he's been incredibly sweet to me. I had gotten a spider bite near my eye and my eye has been swollen. And each day he has shown concern and asked how it was doing. And even telling me how he's noticing that it's getting better by the day.
I just thought I'd update you all just in case you were wondering.

Normally if there's a thread about your relationship - you're suppose to continue discussing that subject within the same thread, not start a new one.

I apologize. I actually originally couldn't find it. I thought it was maybe moved somewhere or something. It wasn't until I was almost finished typing it all, and then I found it and added the link. So again I apologize.

There is really no comment to make....It seems that you are doing all of the talking...One paragraph would have been enough if you just wanted to update. No offense...Don't think we need to read every single detail action that he did and then you did and then so...
Actually it like you are writing in your diary?..I am glad that all is working well. Nothing else needs to be said

That's fine then. I've kind of stopped coming here on a daily basis. I normally like to read the bible chats, devotionals and stuff, but I've been kinda getting side tracked.
Whatever. I'm sorry if I'm just too excited about something I have never experienced before. So pardon me for being happy and excited.

Dear Breanne,
I loved reading your posts. Made my day and thank you. It is exciting when you are falling in love, and by the way, it sure sounds like thats what is happening to you and Luke. God bless you and I hope all goes well for you. I love a love story.
