Mom-refusing ALL meds for 3 weeks - 11/2/2008 7:40:04 PM

My mom has been refusing all meds for at least 3 weeks. I am crushed. She is going to die.
It is just a matter a time.
This weekend I spent a large amount of time singing Hello Dolly and My Fair Lady songs with her.
I took her chocolate bars. Her favorite thing in the world.
I am crushed crushed crushed crushed.
I WILL lose my mom next, it is only a matter of when, and then the other parent who had loved me all my life will be gone too. Dead.
She takes heart meds, blood pressure meds, and meds to help her communicate much clearer, and she has been getting steadily worse.
I can't believe this hideous year. She will either have a heart attack or a stroke. My Lord, my heart is crying for her already.
I want to take her to her home, as she has never recovered from her 3rd broken bone, the other hip, after her foot and hand and pelvis.
I want her HOME.
I am just crushed. I HAVE to work. What in the world am I supposed to do with all this pain?
I cann't stand to have her die in a nursing home and I have have have to work. WHAT IN THE WORLD CAN I DO???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I want her to die in my arms in her home. It meant the world to bob and it means the world to mom.
What can one person do??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I will hate myself forever if I let her die in a nursing home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY LORD GOD.....what is the answer? WHAT IS NEXT? help. HELP. HELP...HELP...HELP...HELP.

Father,
We acknowledge our helplessness in this situation. We ask that you do what you specialize in doing...perform a miracle for PW's mom. Please work this out for the best. It is in Jesus Christ's name that we ask this. Amen.

Oh Lord, please provide a way for Nan to be able to with her mom, so that she does not
carry this burden. Lord please hold Nan and her mother in your arms Lord, keep them
safe under your wing Lord....Please lift this pain from Nan and just give her comfort in
knowing that you are there with her and her mother. Lord, please if this is what you want,
please touch her mothers heart Lord, make her realize that she really needs to take her
meds, Lord, if it is your will please heal her body completely Lord....

Father,
You know PW's troubles. She needs shelter and help and guidance.
Help her come to sit at Your feet right now and hide in Your holiness.
Speak to her heart, Lord. She is hurting and needs comfort.
Instruct and teach her the way she should go with her job and her mom?
She needs you, Lord. Please hear her prayer and all of our prayers on her behalf.
Deliver her from this seemingly insurmountable tangle.
Please bring her comfort and assurance that You will work everything out.
Lord, hold PW and her mom in the center of Your perfect will so that everthing
will work together for their good and Your glory.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.

Help MOM to trust your will.

Father,
I know that You can make a way when it seems like we are up against a brick wall.
If it is Your will, please bring peace and comfort to Nan's mom.
If it is Your will, please allow Nan the ability to spend more time with her mom.
Give Nan comfort and strength for what is ahead. Surround her with Your peace.
Surround Nan's mom and family with Your protection and love.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing and answering our prayers.

Papa God,
Lord have mercy on my mom.
I will lose her soon.
Help, my Lord.
Please help.
Since all of her medications stopped, she is getting worse by the day.
Father, help.
She is grabbing at people, pulling oxygen masks off of other patients, and throwing plates.
Oh my Lord, is this how it is going to end.?
They are now giving her Ativan 3 x a day in an injection.
Oh my God, please don't let me remember my mom this way.
It is a mental nightmare, for her and we her children.
PLEASE GOD. HELP US ALL, dear FATHER.
BLESS MOM. Bless her beyond our wildest dreams.
Father, I rebuke Satan and all demons from her life. I ask you to place a spiritual fortress around her and bring her peace.
Father, help.
I feel so stuck.
I have to work, period.
It is a necessity.
I can't be there for her like I always planned.
My bob is gone.
Lord, life is ending up for her so full of turmoil and pain and suffering with confusion.
These memories are going to kill us all as we remember the last days/weeks/months of her life.
Oh Lord, it is so very sad.
HELP, mighty God.
PLEASE.
All she had wanted is to be home.
She is a mental and physical wreck and home is an impossibility.
Literally. I finally admit it. I was Pollyanna living in a dream world of getting her back home.
What a terrible end.
Father, I surrender Mom to you.

Lord, be with Nan and bring good memories to help her through this time. Lord, give her comfort and peace. Help her to know that You are in control and You want what is best for her even though right now she may not see how that could be.
Give her the ability to surrender her mom and her will to You. Make her to know Your perfect peace and joy even in the troubled times. Help her to see this is for a season and this too shall pass and Your eternal day awaits.
We thank You that you understand our pain and You want to give us comfort. We praise You for Your eternal love and grace. Give Nan the special grace she has not needed before and help her heart to be lifted. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen

Father, I am praying in agreement with everyone.
Please be merciful to Nan and her mom.
Give her mom lucidity and calmness.
Give Nan strength and comfort.
Build a hedge of protection around Nan, mom, and family so the evil one cannot touch them.
Please, please give them Your Peace.
