Mom's not doing well - 9/18/2009 9:26:48 AM

Mom's been getting progressively worse through the summer. Tusday night I found a bed sore on her heel. I feel so bad that I didn't catch this sooner. (Last time I checked her heels were fine.) The doctor said it wasn't infected and that the low fever she was running was from cellulitis, but now her fever is up and I may be taking her to the ER to see if the fever is from the heel or somewhere else. When I first saw it, I had a strong sick feeling in my gut that this was the beginning of the end.
I don't know, but I feel like when I take her to the hospital I may not be bring her home. Of course I may be wrong, but I just feel so bad right now.
I know that the Lord knows what is best, but I'm just hurting right now, and it's so hard to see her hurting.

Father,
Thank you for sparkleingsnow. Thank you that she has been able to take care of her mother. Please intervene in this latest development. Give sparkleingsnow peace of mind and calm confidence as she cares for her mother and cause everything to go well. You know all about that horrible, uneasy feeling that we caregivers get when something like this happens. Please be on the move for sparkleingsnow and her mother and shower them both with your care. I pray this in the name of the greatest Caregiver of them all, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord I lift this daughter up to you in the name of Jesus for her mother. I ask that you give her strength through all this. I ask that you look upon her mother and heel any sore that is on her body. Give her spiritual and physical comfort. Bless the doctors and healthcare workers with wisdom in making the right decisions for this mother. In Jesus name, let your will be done. Amen.

Sore on heel is about 3 times as big. Going to ER and may not be back on for a while.
Father, thank You for my brothers and sisters who are praying for mom and me. Please bless them in every way that You know is best.

Thank you for sparkelingsnow and all the prayers she has prayed on behalf of others. Lord, I know what is it like to feel the way she does, so together we bring this before you and I ask that you would give her a peace about this situation. I pray you would take care of her mother and help her to get the help that she needs and heal her if it is within your will. Lord I thank you for the blessing of our mother in our lives and you give us through them. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Father,
Please heal her mom. In case you decide to wait for the healing, please help the doctor and assistants to do the exact right procedures and give the perfect prescription. Make the ER experience better and smoother than usual. In the meantime, give comfrot and strength to sparkleingsnow and her mom. Thank you for all that yout do. I praise you and ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I join my heart with the others in prayer for sparkleingsnow and her mother. Please hear these prayers and find favor to heal this mother's heel. Place Thy Hand over the hands of the doctors and guide them toward the best treatment possible. Our trust is in You. Thank You, Lord for being the One who is capable of healing all infirmities. Hear also our prayer for sparkleingsnow. You are her Rock, her Refuge. May she totally trust in the shelter of Your wings. Dear heavenly Father,
I raise up sparkleingsnow before you.
I ask that you touch her mothers body and I REBUKE any spirit that is not of God to flee in the Jesus! I ask that you put your peace and comfort upon both sparkleingsnow and her mother and help them to overcome this hardship in their lives. Give them your joy, peace, comfort and love, have them to be confident in you and give them the strength they need to crush this hardship.

(((((Sparkle))))) Oh, sweetie, I am so sorry for your mom's illness and I understand EXACTLY how you feel. I went through this for a very long time before mother passed away last Nov. My heart just goes out to you. I would think "this might be the end for mom" but she would get well again and be just fine for a period of time. I know this is really hard on you . . . I remember just like it was yesterday! God bless you!
Father God,
Please find favor in this situation and heal Sparkle's mom in whatever way you know is best. Give her wonderful doctors and medical professionals who can figure out exactly how to treat her, and I pray that You will help her recover quickly and completely. Lord, please sooth and calm these dear ones, remove her mom's pain, and help Sparkle feel Your sweet presence and support and love while she is going through all of this. It is harder to see someone we love suffer than it is to go through it ourselves. Bless Sparkle and her mom, and give them a wonderful outcome. I pray that You will be glorified in all of it and ask that You protect them from the evil one and hold them in Your loving care.

We're home and mom is doing a little better. Fever is down and she seems a little stronger than she has been for the last few days. Noone seems to know what caused the fever. Thank You Father. She will have to see a wound specialist for her heel.

Father, thank You for all You are doing for mom and for the peace You've given me and helping me in so many ways during the last few days. You are such an awesome God. I continue to ask for Your will in all of this. In Jesus name. Amen

(((Sparkle))), Sorry I did not see this post until today. I knew about the bedsore but did not know you had been through so much!! Like marstacy, and many of us, I have watched my mom hurt before she went to be with the Lord. I remember one day sitting at her bed and just sobbing and it was one of those times when she "woke up" and acknowledged my presence. She asked "why are you crying" and I said "because I can't stand to see you suffer in pain" and she looked puzzled and said "pain, what pain?" I think of that time often and chose to think God takes that pain away and what we see as suffering is not as bad as we think.
Father I thank you for this devoted daughter,not only to her mother but to you. I pray you give her peace as she cares for her ailing mother. Let her know that you will provide her mother's needs. I pray this fever will leave her and her heel will get better. Wrap this mother in your healing embrace, Lord. Thank you.

Hi, I'm sparkleingsnows sister. She is at the hospital with our mother. Mother is not doing very well. and maybe have to have an amputation. Sparkleingsnow is requesting prayers for our beloved mother and also to let you know she won't be able to be onling for awhile, don't know how long. thank you.

I lift up Sparkle's mother and pray that You will bring her relief from pain. Please heal this bedsore so
that an amputation is not necessary. However, if it is not Your will, then please give her the strength
to get through surgery and help her to recover quickly. Give Sparkle courage and surround her with
Your love and peace. Help the family as they wait for the outcome. Draw each one closer to Your
Heart and let them feel Your presence in the midst of everything going on. Lord, I ask for Your Perfect

Father in Heaven, I lift our beloved sister sparkleingsnow and her mother and their family up in prayer. We are so thankful that we can place all our faith and trust in You. Thank You for the comfort You give and Your Love that is like no other. I pray in agreement with everyone as we ask for healing and for Your presence to be known.
