I have just spent a rather interesting bit of time perusing various threads and seeing where our Moderators have either had to do inordinate babysitting and/or train wreck clean-up.

I am continually amazed at all the hard work that our Moderators do to keep this place running so smoothly. Most of what they do will probably never be fully realized by us; which is just another example of how wonderful and efficient these often unsung wonders really are!

This simply cannot be said often enough.

BTW, For those who do not know, Moderators are not paid for their time here; they do it because they love this community and they want to give something back to it (well, either that, or they're all a bunch of gluttons for punishment)

It is truly my hope that this thread will continue into the long-run.

Want to give kudos to one or more Mods? THIS is the place to do it! Again and again . . . as often as you wish.

Moderators:
Y'all are Absolutely the Best!

Thank You for all Your Hard Work!

Moderators

All you have to do is go to some of the other forums on the internet to see how nice it is here. (Not that I'd recommend it ) That's a testament to not just the moderators but also admin too. They have to work as a team, and they do it well...and prayerfully...which is how they do it well.

Over the years I've seen the moderators here clean up a lot of messes. It can definitely be a thankless job...so thank you.

Also I can attest that the moderators have helped me tremedously at times with good advice and monitoring in some sticky situations.

I LIKE the way they can use those "special" smilies... The ones that put us under their power of suggestion.

Almost like they CONSPIRED to do that!

Thank y'all for keeping us users civil and under control.

To the Mods:

A little prose made up for you!

You are here all day and into the nights
Cleaning our messes and ending our fights.

Calling our homes when something is wrong
Encouraging our lives to help keep us strong

I know that it's thankless
And I know that you're tired.

And I'm sure from this job you would love to retire

But think of the lives you always inspire.
The hearts you touch in situations so dire.

So for that I thank you all! And can never repay

And know that I promise from trouble I'll stay,
And cause you no problems, at least for today.
