It's practically a dead heat between Coleman and Franken, with 100% of the precincts reporting. I think I heard Al Franken is already calling for a recount? Anyone else heard anything more?

Well, a recount is automatic in Minnesota when the election is as close as it looks like it will be, so we almost certainly will have one.

I can't believe Stuart Smalley has done so well, Jack Well, ever since the 'Jesse Ventura Incident' they have had breathalizer tests at voting places, but apparently some broke down last night.

I wonder how close the race would be without Barkley? I read somewhere that he pulled from both Franken and Coleman, so it's hard to say.

Barkley was pretty liberal on social issues, so I suspect he pulled more from Franken. Especially given that Obama won by such a large margin in MN, which would suggest a lot of Dems who voted for Obama were voting for Barkley.
