Since we're about to hijack another thread.....here are the current details.
I have to be in NW Florida (Fort Walton/Destin area) for a tournament in early January (9-10). There are some who live close to that area, and others who are within a not too far driving distance.
So, since I'm a bit confined because of the tournament schedule.....and may not be as available as others, let's get an idea of who all can tentatively make it. I *may* make you guys come out and see my *kids* play. 
Who's in???????

I'm in, as far as I know.
Hope I don't have to try to juggle to keep people entertained, hehe, because I can't juggle.
Let's see... mini golf, swimming, Indian Temple Mound, beach, go-karts... um, anything else to do here, Tink?

Oh...I don't know. I definitely want to, but it would require cheap airfare...where's the nearest airport?...and flying would require travel arrangements once on Florida soil...would I need hotel accommodations?...and I'm not sure if I'd be able to take that Friday off work since it's the first week back from Christmas Break...
Much to figure out...but I'm excited just the same!
We'll see what some research presents over the Thanksgiving holidays.

LOLOL!! Lisa, you know I'd love to drive. If the weekend was during my Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, or Summer Breaks, I wouldn't think twice about it. The weekend falls between work weeks, though, so nine hours becomes too long.
It's either fly or wait for a future opportunity.

Well, the gators aren't all over the place. Deer everywhere... some bears... but you can avoid the alligators.
And we have a glut of golf courses, in my opinion, in this county.
