Any other Dethklok fans out there?

I love that show! My favorite quote is from Skwisgaar: "That's hows we am."

I also love the theme song, so I am upset that in some episodes they have cut it down and only play a small piece of it.

The more I watch this show the more I love it!

I liked it when Nathan Explosion was going through their mail:

"Subpoena... subpoena... subpoena... hmm... Netflix... awesome... subpoena... subpoena... naked lady fanmail, hmm... could be awesome or really horrible... subpoena..."

Or how about when Nathan had a nightmare that, because he dropped out of high school and had nothing to fall back on after the rest of his bandmates died so he wound up working at "Dimmu Burger."

Then there's the Duncan Hill jingle... "DO YOU WANT SOME COFFEE?!?!?" LOL!

I think this Adult Swim cartoon has its moments, but maybe because they played that heavy metal motif schtick to superfluous levels (i.e. the gory violence), I often find myself hesitant at best at watching Metalocalypse. But still, there are some funny references to the whole general hard rock/metal scene, like the cocaine-addicted hair metal clown (the name of which I can't remember)!

Some personal favorite moments:
-when the Dethklok fans had to learn to play classic acoustic, Scandinavian music instruments (to subdue a local monster)
-the family reunion of each of the bandmates (which questions whom should be better qualified to compose/play metal music! )
-Murderface finding "religion," albeit being torn from fundamentalist agnosticism, etc! *(or as I would say, Bill Maher )
-and Nathan Explosion getting a girlfriend!

Hmm.. I haven't seen that one yet.

I have a new favorite: they're in the studio recording a new album, and everybody keeps interrupting Pickles as he's trying to cut his drum tracks. He's getting frustrated and exhausted while everybody else is in the control room eating french toast. Then in order to eliminate the grounding buzz in Skwissgaard's guitar rig, they have him play his part while skydiving.

Heh heh. But overall, I think what gives Metalocalypse its charm is that they're the most powerful metal band in the world--powerful enough to rule or at least influence global economics/geo-politics... just that they're too oblivious to even appreciate it!

I like it because although everything they do is ridiculous and over the top, much of it isn't that ridiculous and outside the realm of possibility. I wouldn't put it past somebody to try cutting guitar tracks while skydiving or recording an album underwater or having a cell phone with a bunch of spikes sticking out of it. And they actually dress more conservatively than a lot of metal bands (don't see too many armbands covered with nails on the show).
