I am an ESL person, English as Second Language, suggesting to have a section for the ESL people who want to improve their English in exchange of their first language for those English people interested in learning their language, 'language exchange' in short!

It would be like 'getting more than two birds with one stone', because we as Christians can have chance to serve others in need of learning other language, have fellowship beyond border, learn and understand other cultures,

If administers don't know that there are so many internet sites and so many people doing that, simply google the word 'language exchange' to find out.
With many business becoming 'global', we Christians should be leading, not following, much worse not getting it, in that trend, I think.

I myself need to improve my English so that I can communicate better with other people who can speak English, not necessary Americans, but all over the world.
I also know there are a lot of Korean student dying to learn English, young for school need and old for their job security in their trade.

It is only fair for American to learn other language at least to understand the pain of learning and speaking other language foreign people have.

I can go all over many Korean sites and attract those wishing to do so to this site, if CF has one, the language exchange.

Please consider and do something for the need of other Christians in another world.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking for.

Anyone can come to the forum and participate in the discussions.

With the exception of the Spanish folder the discussions are in English allowing those who do not speak english well an opportunity to interact.

What exactly do you wish to see happen?

The fact that you were unable to understand my request makes my request all the more reasonable and necessary- I need to have a special section in this site to practice English and improve my ability to write in English, and to have someone to correct my mistakes, in return to teach any person interested in learning another language, Korean in my case of language exchange.

I want a special folder exclusively for 'Language Exchange', like 'General Faith' or 'current', where ESL people can come and exchange their language.
The reason for this special heading is for attracting as many people as possible, which is good for this site, unless it is not desired.

Many sites are dedicated solely for language exchange, attracting many people interested.
I want that happen here in Christian environment, Christians helping another Christians with different language wishing to learn other languages, or just tutoring others.

Maybe we can reach out to unbelieving foreigners by way of teaching English.

Please make a folder, or folders, just for this purpose.

If you are not convinced, please visit other language exchange site and get the idea.

PS. I was a member of a certain secular site, exchanging my first language, Korean, for English, but received more than language; I received pop-ups from dirty sites.
I stopped going there.
I hope that you see the need for a clean language exchange folder for Christian ESL students.

I do not think it is necessary to have a series of folders for this sort of exchange.

I think all that is needed is for individuals, like yourself, to engage in the discussions that are already in existence.

Maybe you could start a PFY thread for Korean-speakers?

I am not sure how many others who speak Korean are on the board. Do you know?

No, I am not seeking Korean speakers; I seek English speakers who wish to learn Korean from me who, in return, learn English from them.
The same thing goes with other foreign language speakers who wish to learn English from someone who speaks English but wish to learn other language(s) through language exchange.

Maybe you need to google for 'language exchange' to get to know what I am talking about.
You can allow rather help those people who wish to learn foreign language here at CF, in Christian environment, providing a special folder for 'language exchange' where CF members can learn other language in exchange for his/her mother tongue.

Some sites charge for the language exchange, while others do free.

CF can attract those who are in need of learning other tongue, especially nowadays when many companies go 'global'.

Another reason that I want a folder for language exchange is that when people google for language exchange, CF cab be popped up in their search results so that they can visit CF.

Am I understood at all?
