I'm curious if there are any independents out here and what your thoughts are on this election process.

I'm an independent with traditional values.

I think elections are becoming less and less about the issues and more and more about one-upping the competition. At least it seems that's what many media outlets choose to focus on more often than not.

I agree. It's very bothersome. It really disturbs me that the candidates aren't being upfront. Half solutions are being presented and that's not what I want to know.

I want specifics, how they plan to accomplish their promises, what will it mean for the American people, what is the bottom line.

I don't vote party lines, I vote on the platform, the candidate, what they stand for.

So far I remain unimpressed and deeply concerned if either candidate gets into office.....
