LOL! I'm new to this forum. I've never been here before but I hang out at the other "people" forum.
You know how women, when they need to make a change, the hair is the first to go?  Well, that's why I'm here. I need some suggestion on what I do with my hair. I'll post some pictures to ask you for your opinion on which hair looks better, and what color. It's mainly the color that I want to change. The length, I've decided to cut it short, and get a bob haircut.
Current, black
three months ago, brown with highlights
auburn, 2 years ago.
3 years ago, dirty blonde
Please give me some suggestion on which color looks good. My hairdresses is somewhat useless in this area because she doesnt' seem to have an opinion. She'll do whatever she tells me.

Thanks, guys. I guess I'm not going lighter, then.
I was thinking of getting a bob haircut. Maybe shoulder length, or slightly above the shoulder. The last time I cut my hair short was 10 years ago so this would be a dramatic change. Well see if I can actually do it, lol. The only part of my body that I make a big fuss about is my hair.

I like the brown with highlights. My second choice would be the auburn.

I like the brown with highlights the best.
It's very soft against your skin tone.
Is this Shoulder length bob what you are talking about?

I like that bob cut but my hair is too curly and I can't have bangs. I just look really goofy when I have bangs. This is what my real hair looks like, so if I cut it short, I'll have to straighten it every day or else I'll look like a mop, lol.

I'll be the weird one & say that I like the dirty blonde. Not sure why...it might just be the expression on your face, but that's definitely my favorite picture.
So did you get it cut & colored yet?

I absolutely love the auburn on people who have jet black hair to begin with. I'm a big fan of reds in with black (is it bad that I can't wait for my daughter to become a teenager just because of all the things I want to do with her hair???)

Ha ha. I'm so much like you. I make a bigger fuss about my duaghter's hair more than she does. Well, she's only 11. She's got this gorgeous hair that curls at the bottom. I straighten it at times. But I keep telling her that i hope she doesn't color her hair because it's so nice and I don't want it getting all dry and frizzy. She's my little doll.
I'll post a pic of the new style once I get it done. Probably in 3 weeks because that's when I get another day off on Friday.

I'm biased because I have black hair, so I would suggest getting the black with a soft just above the shoulders bob. Maybe add very subtle brown highlights?

ok, guys, I finally had it done! What do you think? I'm too chicken to make a big change, lol. But it's actually quite different from the black. My daughter too the picture at night so it doesn't show much. I was going to cut it short, but I couldn't do it. Here's a couple of other shots. I went to a different hairdresser this time.
