A comment Tina made in another thread prompted me to wonder: How many Southern Gospel soundtracks do you have?
I don't have that many. I have two complete CD soundtracks (for the Perrys' Look No Further and Come Thirsty) and probably somewhere between a half-dozen and 10 individual tracks.

Around 175 individual songs and 4 Carroll Roberson complete album soundtracks and 3 Ivan Parker complete album soundtracks, 6 of my original songs, plus about 60 christmas song soundtracks.
I download all the ones I sing regularly, about 135 of them, into my Emcee Pro program for convenience. I do keep all of the CDs. Most are in cases in the closet with a few in my practice area with my karaoke player that I use for practice.

I only have between 5-10. My favorite one is "Without A Valley," written by Rodney Griffin.

I have all the Crabb family's complete soundtrack from 2001-2006. I love the music to them not just to sing to them.

I have close to 50. Most of them I've downloaded from either the Crossroads website or the Kingdom Heirs website.

I have soundtracks of 3 albums of EHSS music. I don't sing with them (for which everyone can breathe a sign of relief). Actually, I got them for background music in my office when the voices would be a distraction. Of course, since I have all the regular albums as well, I find myself thinking the words and voices, even when they aren't there!

I have about a dozen complete album tracks (GCQ, Ivan Parker, GV, Kingsmen, and even 1 Crabb Family), and about 75 individual tracks. I have also had a lot of luck with choir accompaniment track to SG songs, I have several collections, mostly Mike Speck books.

I don't think I own any Southern Gospel tracks. I think the first song I ever sang with a track was "He's Still Working on Me" but I borrowed it from someone who probably didn't know what Southern Gospel Music was. I guess she just liked the song. That was MANY years ago!

I probably have 7-8 full album tracks and 20-25 individual songs that I've bought for my quartet to use over the years.

When I sell someone a track, I try to remember how I felt one day in 1989, when I walked into a Christian bookstore in Athens, GA and "discovered" this wonderful product called accompaniment tracks. I bought a Sandi Patty medley, and the concept (of canned accompaniment) absolutely changed my life!

I have not counted but it would probably be in the 150 neighborhood as far as individual songs go. Some have only been used once, at church, and others have been used several times. We have about 3 complete project soundtracks. The one of these which we have used the most is the complete soundtrack of the "Crabb Collection". Of the individual ones we have we probably have 5 that we have never used in a performance because we just could not make them work for us.

I could open a store according to my wife. She counted the cassettes, and CD's about five years ago. At that time I had over 800. I also have a about fifty compilation split-track CD's, with the older songs on them. I also have the CD Hymnal that I found on the net. If you go by individual songs. I really don't know. At least 2,500 plus
BTW Daniel I have soundtracks that I bought from George or Glenn back in the 80's of Cathedral's songs before they were made by Daywind or another soundtrack company. I don't take them out of the box unless I need them. One of these day I'm going to put all my all cassette tracks on CD or DVD. also ood to see you on Facebook

i probably have 200+ soundtracks either cassette or CD. I have a lot but don't sing all of them.
