It seems that Chancellor Angela Merkel may see her chances of obtaining a majority (party) rule improving, given the recent polls/surveys of registered/eligible German voters who are more affiliated/identified with Merkel's conservative (Christian Democratic Union) CDU, more so than Kurt Beck's Social Democrats!
...that, and Merkel's staying power of popularity!
