I'm not sure. Seems pretty basic, nothing revolutionary here. If you see something that looks like a nice change, wouldn't hurt to try, that I can see.

I take issue with this, though:

quote:

If you need to work out the day after a bender, guzzle a sports drink half an hour before your workout and then drink more every ten to 15 minutes.
The carbohydrates in the sports drink will help keep the water in your system, while the sodium will make you thirstier for more fluids, encouraging you to drink again.

You will find much better info and ideas at www.T-Nation.com or bodybuilding.com

Not know what you've done or your level of experience, it's hard to say. I think most people overthink training. Go with a solid basic program, something like:

Incline Press: warm up sets, than work sets of 8,6,4 reps increasing the weight. A back-off set of twelve if you like.

DB Flyes or Cable Crossovers or Pec Dec: three sets of 8-12 reps, whatever reps you like.

Finish with push-ups or db flat bench, aiming for higher reps.

Now that all could be exactly what bored you, but since you didn't say what it was you were doing, I wouldn't know.

I agree with NoShow, it's hard to know without knowing what you've been doing. Sometimes the old tried-and-true (pushups, BP, flyes, etc) are really the most effective. I've recently gone back to focusing on lunges (I'm a girl, BTW)...there's really nothing better to work the entire lower body. How or why I ever got away from them, I don't know. Sometimes we make it too complicated or convoluted.

When you need a change, maybe you just need to mix up days, body parts, change to or from a total body routine, set a new goal, or just get new music. It may not be the workout. But there are endless workouts posted on T-nation.com. I've pulled stuff from there when I thought I needed a change or a new challenge in a certain area.

Have you see the Perfect Pushup? It's been on TV but I've seen it at Walmart and Costco now. Dh got me one and I can't do it! Wow, it's hard to do! If you're looking for a change, or just a reality check (I'm a wimp), it's cool.

I almost bought one! But I have a bosu and I do my pushups on that or in yoga. When I get more advanced I might get one.

I own one. After 10 reps, you feel like you've done 30.
