What are some of your favorite business books? I recently read 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss and it opened my eyes up to a whole new level of thinking about business and the way I should live my life. Are there any books like this that had an big impact on your life?

I have read numerous books by Jeffrey Gitomer and find them to be full of valuable information. They appear kinda like a children's book at first, but once you begin to read, they are well written. I also love Og Mandino's book The Greatest Salesman. It combines spirituality with business sales and it is an easy read but very motivational and rewarding.

I like Peters as well. Maxwell is ok. However the folks I work for bought management peoples "Unleashing Excellence" by Dennis Snow and Teri Yanovitch, DC Press. ISBN1-1932021-06-x. It is about looking at our business through the eyes of our customers. It is a hands on, how to, instruction manual. It has changed our business and has given us customers for life.

Oh, I've used the "everything speaks" in our church. Basically, when someone new comes into your church for the first time, everything speaks. Let me tell ya, newbies see it all, remembering the bad, forgetting good.
