I posted this in the home education thread but thought I would post it here also in case you have children that use the computer. The website elibs.com was recommended to me on another forum by a homeschool mother for language arts. My daughter and I went to the site this morning and was in for quite a suprise and shock to say the least. We put our words in and clicked the create button and what came up was totally horrible. The story had f-words, d-words, s-words, you name it, it was there. I had the laptop on my lap instead of my girl having it so thankfully she didn't see any of this. But I was appalled to learn that this site is geared for children as a on line mad libs type of educational site.But I later learned from another mom that it was also for gay and lesbians to find partners. I was mortified. SO PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SITE.

Ok, I had to check it out. I am that odd.
boolee is right. That site is a load of bovine excrement to be blunt without being completely rude. Or maybe I was rude, but other words came to mind when I did one of the mad-libs there.
Honestly, the people that created and run that web site suffer from cranial-rectal inversion and should just give it up.
They do have a disclaimer on the site, but it is not prominent and I only saw it after it generated one of their little stories.
But then again, anyone that uses it should get a clue quickly as the prompts for words included "an embarrassing word", "something sexual", and other prompts that when taken together could really come to no good.
I have no idea if the gay/lesbian connection is real or not. It makes no difference in reality as there is no redeeming value to the apparent purpose of the site.
