Hi everybody.
Seems a lot of us are having to start new threads as our 'old' ones are too long. Hopefully it will make it easier for people to join in and feel comfortable.
For those who don't know me, my name is Trish, and I'm really looking forward to meeting you all.
For those of you nuts who already know me, come on in. I'd really enjoy the company.
Don't forget to grab yourself a tasty beverage and something to eat, and make yourself at home. I'm sure we'll all get along really well.

Are you getting ready for your party, Trish? I loved my 40th birthday party! I had a 50th birthday party a year after I moved to Massachusetts, but I'd left all my family and friends in California, so it wasn't as fun or meaningful as my 40th.

What a great way to start a new thread. Lots of lovely people coming in to say hi. Hi back to you all.
Yes, Deb, I am organising my 40th birthday. A friend was going to come and share it with me, but can't make it anymore. So it's just me, with about 30 other people.
Have been getting meals ready for when our friends arrive. Not long finished, even though it's the early hours of Wednesday today. Looks like it's time for me to go for my bedtime sleep. Talk to you all later.

I made Shepard's Pie once if I remember correctly it quite troublesome. Which is why I only made it once.

They're supposed to, but with so many shepherds it's hard to get the maillard effect.
