I wish I was going this year, but I'm traveling to Massachusetts the week after for a book signing and speaking engagement. My husband can't take both weekends off. I highly suggest going to anyone thinking about it. It's a good, good conference.

At the moment, I can only do one conference a year, and I went to Write-to-Publish in June. But although I'm still doing some non-fiction, my bigger projects lately have been novels, so I'm thinking about going to the ACFW conference next year. It does look good.

Yes it does look good. But I busted the bank at Karitos this year. It's a christian artist festival in Chicago that included writing, art, dance, etc. But I learned so much from Patty Hickman, that now I have to go over her stuff and absorb!!!! But if anyone can go to a conference, then by all means, GO!!!! Even though Karitos is for the arts, sitting under Patty's teachings was the best thing I could ever do for my writing. oh, and I'm rewriting my novel. . . . again. kim
