I put a prayer chain for several friends of mine around this time of the year online each year:
plus I and others pray for them frequently.

Thanksgiving is coming up and Thanksgiving is great...
however the day before isnt.
7 years ago on the day before Thanksgiving I lost a good friend of mine who died in a accident named Candy who was only 22

BTW, here is what happened to Candy BTW:
Candy lived with her father Arley and her 2 kids
Candy’s son, Jacob, had stopped breathing and Candy had rushed him down to the basement of the Davis’ residence where Arley was,
in order for Arley to perform CPR.
When Candy went to run to go call 911, Candy slipped and fell in a pool of
water that had backed up from the basement drain. In the process,
Candy came in contact with a drill press
that was plugged into an improperly wired socket.
Candy was electrocuted.
Arley was able to revive Jacob, but was unable to revive Candy.
Candy was only 22 years old.
Candy was laid to rest at the ???? Cemetery on December 5th 2002
Arley (Candy's dad) passed away in late 2008 at age 52 from health related problems.
I actually have finally this year went to finally visit her grave and when I am in the area where the cemetary she is resting at, I put some flowers at her grave.

so PRAY for me at this time of year cause the day before thanksgiving will always be a reminder of losing a good friend.
and PRAY for the salvation of my friends such as Lisa and Anna
and Sharon and Bambi and Guy and Andrea and Mark and Aaron B
who were all friends of Candy's at this time, who are also friends of mine
and also Candy's family as well
and PRAY those who knew Candy D. who dont know Jesus will come to know him before it is too late
PRAY also for 2 people me and Candy went to school with:
Tiffany and Mandy 's salvation also

this prayer chain isnt really much about me.
it is more about the salvation of me and Candy's friends who I hope come to know JESUS before it is too late.
(their salvation is what I am really concerned about.
I dont know if Candy was saved
but I know the folks I mentioned arent
and I hope and PRAY will make the right decision when it comes to JESUS before it is too late.

O, our Father, what a touching memory billiefan2000 has shared with us. This message just reemphasizes the great need for us to share the Good News and to pray for those who have have yet to believe in Jesus. I am praying in agreement as I join billiefan2000 in lifting up the names of his friends Lisa, Anna, Sharon, Bambi, Guy, Andrea, Mark, Aaron B, Candy's family and friends, Tiffany and Mandy; may they come to know the truth and believe in Jesus the Messiah. Lord,
Thank you for billiefan and his prayers for others here. Lord we have so much sadness in this world and this still brings sadness to him; I pray that this would be a year of great healing for him and the day before Thanksgiving would be filled with your love and your peace. I pray for the others he mentioned here for salvation, please open their spiritual eyes and help them to see the void that is in their life without you. Send those to them that will share the gospel and give them ears to hear. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.
