...before you die. It's not a terribly exotic list at all, I emboldened what I've had. Some of them I've had, just not exactly as prepared (like I've had lobster but not lobster thermidor, I've eaten at 3-star Michelin restaurants, but not the tasting menu) so I didn't indicate them. Abalone, Aloo gobi, Baba ghanoush, Bagel and lox, Bagna cauda, Baijiu, Baklava, Beer above 8% ABV, Beignets (churros, elephant ears or funnel cake), Bellini, Black pudding, Black truffle, Borscht, Brawn (or head cheese), Calamari, Carob chips, Carp, Catfish, Caviar and blini, Cheese fondue, Chicken tikka masala, Chitterlings (or andouillette), Clam chowder in a sourdough bowl, Clotted cream tea, Cognac with a fat cigar, Criollo, Crocodile, Curried goat, Currywurst, Dirty gin martini, Dulce de leche, Durian, Eel, Eggs Benedict, Epoisses, Flowers, Foie gras, Fresh wild berries, Fried plantain, Frogs' legs, Fruit wine made from something other than grapes, Fugu, Gazpacho, Gjetost (or brunost), Goat's milk, Goulash, Gumbo, Haggis, Hare, Heirloom tomatoes, Horse, Hostess Fruit Pie, Hot dog from a street cart, Huevos rancheros, Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, Kaolin, Kobe beef, Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut, Lapsang souchong, Lobster Thermidor, Louche absinthe, McDonald's Big Mac Meal, Mole poblano, Nettle tea, Oxtail, Oysters, Paneer, PB&J sandwich, Phaal, Pho, Pistachio ice cream, Pocky, Polenta, Poutine, ****ly pear, Raw Scotch Bonnet pepper, Rice and beans, Roadkill, Root beer float, Rose harissa, S'mores, Salted lassi, Sauerkraut, Sea urchin, Single malt whisky, Snail, Snake, Soft shell crab, Spaetzle, Spam, Steak tartare, Steamed pork buns, Sweetbreads, Tasting menu at a three-Michelin-star restaurant, Tom yum, Umeboshi, Venison, Vodka jelly/Jell-O shot, Wasabi peas, Whole insects I don't know why kaolin is on the list.

Wow, I thought you'd have had a lot more than that! You've never had fried plaintans, there in Texas? Or a high-octane beer? Some of the things on there are so commonplace (borscht, goulash, rice and beans, tikka masala) - to me, it was sort of a weird list. But, for once, a do-able "...before you die" list!

The list is from the link provided. quote:
Plantains are not common here. Remember I'm in the "southwest" part of Texas, not the "southern" part of Texas. That's why I figured you'd have had them, as it is a Central/South American dish.
